Everything that we tried was amazing delicious and so friendly and charming service..all of it for a very reasonable price. It was a great experience for all of us. Our honest recommendation!

This has been our best meal out of 10 days in Prague. Our meal at Pagana was better than our last Michelin Star Restaurant. From the moment we were seated to our departure the service was the best either of us have ever experienced. We...had pasta dishes to start even though they were not a “starter”, Santo accommodated and made it smaller. Our mains were steak and veal, both delicious and tender. They even had a delicious non-alcohol drink that wasn’t over the top sweet or elaborate. To end the pricing was very reasonable. I am not generally over the top with my reviews, you can see them for yourself :)More

After reading all the positive reviews about this small family run business we couldn’t wait to go. Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed. Firstly the positives. The waiter was superb. He was friendly, spoke excellent English, explained all about the specials in detail and overall was...a really good waiter. The decor and setting were perfect. It was beautifully laid out, very well decorated and a really nice place to enjoy a meal in. The negative’s. Whilst I would definitely not class the meal as expensive, I would say it was dear for what we got and very dear for Prague. The food was the biggest let down of our trip to Prague. I thought the menu was very limited and the meals we ordered were very disappointing. The sauce in my wife’s meal was actually awful and I rarely say that about any food and I’m generally very easy to please. We could have complained but I’m never a fan of a second plate that’s been brought out after a moan. We saved this meal until the last night of the trip but sadly it was a big let down. I only gave the place 3 stars because of how good I thought the waiter was, if it wasn’t for him I’d have given either 1 or 2 . Sadly I will not be return in to Pagana.More

Where to begin on one of best restaurants my wife and I have ever had the pleasure to experience in the world. Hidden gem is just the start. We came in during lunch and was seated promptly right at opening hour on a Thursday after...sightseeing in the morning. Hospitality is bar none excellent as well as the presentation, quality, and taste of the food. They make you feel at home and tell you about the family history as well. Above all, it is their passion of their heritage of family and food that sets is above and beyond our expectations. And we have eaten at gastronomic Michelin starred places as well as hole in the wall places that rival Michelin star restaurants. The taste of all the dishes we could eat is based on “simple” but quality ingredients mixed together along with their “passion.” They are not trying to make good food for money/profit but because they enjoy sharing their passion with others, which is extremely rare these days in the restaurant industry. One regret we do have is not having at least one of the fish dishes for two from a side menu.... Definitely worthy of one of our top 5 places to eat in the world. It was an honor to experience such a pleasurable establishment.More

This place is a hidden gem. Visited shortly after the new year, so probably most people still on holiday, as the restaurant was completely empty for lunch - surprising as the food is absolutely amazing! Staf is courteous, friendly and efficient. Menu short but you...will still have difficulty what to choose as everything on the menu looks amazing. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and the portions were just right, not too small and not too big. If you are into Italian cuisine, this place is a must! Rightfully in the top 10 Italian in Prague, and the Maurer selection awards and other accolades decorating the entrance are well deserved!More
