This is my favourite bar in Waiheke. We were a large family group , including one person in a wheel chair. We were welcomed and accommodated beautifully snd savoured the chance to enjoy lovely wines , beer and cocktails while soaking up the relaxed vibe...snd beautiful views across Oneroa Bay. On arrival we were impressed by the warm welcoming ambiance. The service was friendly and attentive. On a Friday night there was live music and our seating in the covered deck area had sea views. The menu a selection of sharing plates was fine but...2 out of the 3 we ordered were not of the quality expected for a restaurant charging Auckland prices.More

We stopped into this bar after having dinner next door. It was the live music that drew us in. A Great spot for live music on a Friday night, great atmosphere and great range of delicious cocktails.
We came here in mid June with our family for a birthday celebration. The cocktails were delicious and on point, as well as the food, designed for sharing amongst everyone. The service was very good and attentive, special mention to the Scottish lady serving our...table. We then came back the next night and it was even better! Thank you 🙂More

What a hidden gem in Oneroa! We were greeted by friendly staff, as we called in without a booking. They couldn’t promise a table as they were booked solid so we had a quick cocktail at a table we could use for 1/2 hour. In...that half an hour we decided we didn’t want to leave. The food looked amazing and the cocktails were delicious. Not just the normal classics, these were out of this world. Luckily due to a cancellation we could stay. We ended up drinking cocktails all evening while listening to live music, and eating tapas, which was some of the best food we have eaten over our weekend on Waiheke. So much flavour and cooked perfectly. Loved chatting to Owner Damien and his friendly staff. Would have gone back the next day except they were shut. 10/10 guys. Made our stay in Oneroa magic. One of those nights that are not planned and turn out perfect.More

Spent a few hours here after swimming at Oneroa Beach. Great service, great food and some amazing cocktails. The attention to detail at Apertivo is excellent and the waiting staff are welcoming and attentive. It's a little out of the way, but very much worth...looking them up and booking a 3pm table for two. And you need to try at least two cocktails each. Apertivo is my #1 recommendation for your Waiheke holiday. And the views are great too.More
Hidden away behind the shops of Oneroa is the best bar / restaurant on Waiheke. Very cosy, with live music some nights, nice tapas style food for sharing, and just great service making you feel so welcome. They know how to look after people with...a very relaxed style. We popped in here before our booking for dinner across the road. We were greeted with a smile and the offer to sit anywhere we wanted . Being the middle of winter it was great to see blankets in each of the outside seats so...guests could take full advantage of the spectacular view of Oneroa Beach. The service was great… never in your face but definitely there where you needed it…. Two beers in we decided we needed a little sustenance. The polenta fries were a perfect snack and were crunchy on the outside yet deliciously creamy on the inside. In short… great service, great drinks and great polenta fries!More
Was hard to find where to go on a Sunday night.So pleased we found this gorgeous little restaurant. Lovely meal. Mains and dessert were delicious,. and the service was spot on with friendly hosts and live music. Would definitely return!
TINY space so not a heck of a lot of room for our group of 11 but reasonably quiet night so managed to fit us in fairly well. Be prepared to be squashed if you have a big group though... Ordered a round of Mojitos...whatever...they were was good, but they weren't mojitos... The food was AMAZING, and grateful that the replacement dish arrived pretty quickly after the first attempt at delivering my meal resulted in it landing in my lap...and no apology. The bruschetta really was worth the extra wait though and the dishes I tried from other members of our group were all fantastic. The food was the highlight here by a mileMore
