Absolutely love the Tandoori Flames team. Lovely friendly service and delicious curries. The freshly cooked Garlic and Cheese Naan goes superbly with the Hot Lamb Korma.

We absolutely love tandoori flame. We order it for delivery often and the food is delicious and value for money. We decided to eat in and as always, the food was delicious, but it took over an hour to come out and when it did, they forgot a meal. I would recommend ordering takeaway or delivery if you are hungry as I think this is what they orientation their business more towards rather than attending to dine in customers.

Thanks Lilly for the valuable feedback. We definitely have very busy takeaway and delivery but that does not mean that we do not value dine-in customers. We are continuously working towards making our operations more efficient in order to minimise concerns like this. We would like to assure you that we have a lot of regular happy dine-in customers and we do care about dine-in as well. Looking forward to serve you again.
Thanks again.

My husband and I booked a table at 4pm and told the gentleman on the phone (believe it was the owner) that it was our sons favourite restaurant and this is where he chose for his 9th birthday.
Upon arrival at the restaurant we were welcomed with the biggest balloon boutique.
It was a truly special surprise.
The food and service was amazing as always. Calamari is sensational.
The recent renovations really make the ambience quite unlike any other. Fabulous.

We have been getting takeaway for years . Last one was small and I advised manager . 3 months later we tried again butter chicken was awful lucky to have 6-7 pieces of meat in east dish . Smaller containers taste just not cutting the cost for $18 over per meal .

Meals tasted great, but for the price they charged, I think only 5 small pieces of chicken in the main meal is very disappointing! I’m not the first person complained about this as you can see on the reviews. Hope you will take this into consideration and improve on that. Like to come back again, so please let me know if you’re willing to consider an improving your standard.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We are happy that your meals tasted great and sorry to hear about your concern on the 5 chicken pieces in the butter chicken. We believe that the amount of meat we serve in our dishes is great considering the quality we serve and the price we serve at. You are most welcome to visit us again. Thanks again🙏

We went as a family of four (7 and 5 year old kids who generally love most foods) and were really happy with our dinner.
The place was busy but the waitress was friendly and the food didn’t take long. Garlic naan was delish, and the chicken tikka entree was another highlight. Would probably try the veg samosas next time instead of the meat.
Will definitely come back next time we’re in Coolum!

This is one of the best Indian food I have had for years . The meals were so delicious and we really appreciated the fact that vegan food was clearly marked . We had pumpkin eggplant and saag aloo and both were incredibly tasty.

After reading some good reviews We visited Tandoori Flames only to be served a Goat Jalfrezi that was truly a disgusting dish of acidic runny gravy with flecks of meat in. My wife ordered a Chicken biryani, the rice was over cooked, perhaps reheated? The Naan bread was greasy and the whole meal inedible. We left the meals and I reported total dissatisfaction when paying. The staff gave no apology or offered to reduce the bill for the inedible food. To make matters worse, the following day I had a ‘Delhi belly’. Think twice before going to this restaurant.

A very pleasant little restaurant, so close to the caravan park.
The food is delicious! The service friendly and efficient, and the menu contains many choices. In the two weeks we spent in Coolum, we had three meals from this restaurant, one sit in and two takeaways, trying as many different dishes as we could, and we were very happy with all of them . And with the takeaways, you don't pay for rice. Well worth a visit!

As a first time trying Indian food it was Lovely, super fast service and friendly staff. The beef masala was mouth watering, tenderised beef and tasty mix of vegetables. The mango lassi’s were so refreshing as well, highly recommend this place on a Saturday night before the 7pm dinner rush!

We visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening around 7:15pm as it had been recommended to us in the nearby town of Coolum Beach. It was interesting to try a curry in a different country, it was probably the most similar to what you’d get in the UK we’d tried in a different country, and was very tasty
One of the dishes we ordered was a chicken tikka, I asked if this could be done as a main portion rather than a starter. When the food came out there was only 4 pieces of chicken.
I enquired if this was a main portion or the starter and was told that they could only do one size.
If I had know this before I probably would have ordered something else.

Great little restaurant in busy Birtwill Street.Received a warm welcome from lady who helped in kitchen and also was front of house.
Food was great. We shared an entree of Potato Pakora and a main of Lamb Rogan Josh. The lamb was tender and the sauce of cashews, caramelised onions with coriander was very good.Accompaniments of rice, raita and naan rounded of a nice meal.
This restaurant is licensed only.
I would eat here again.
