Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We are fussy eaters when it comes to holidays. Eight of us ate lunch here. Everyone said it was a five from five rating. The beef burgers were the best we’ve had in a long while.

Limited menu but good quality and fast and friendly service. We are happy to recommend the fish and chips and the pork belly sandwich.

Every time we passed this establishment it seemed to be really busy and had a great vibe. While we didn't eat in here, we were really happy that we could get a take away pizza and have it at our own place we were staying....The pizza was ready really quickly and it was a pretty good one too.More

Great local pub, always enjoyed there pizza, understand putting the price up due to renovation etc but was hugely disappointed with the pizza last Sunday evening, it was served on a supermarket bought crust! Couldn’t eat it , absolute rubbish.More

We had a wonderful family meal and enjoyed the bustling atmosphere, friendly staff, stunning decor and absolute gem of a location. It was such a great end to our bike ride into in Arrowtown to sit in the sunshine with a craft brew and great...food. Adults and kids were happy campers . Pizza's were delicious and the pork belly sandwich was to die for. Highly recommended.More

When first walking I was warmly greeted by Larry - Unfortunately this is where my good experience ended. Appreciate it was very busy, but had terrible condescending service. Ordered food and then waited over 35mins and nothing yet to arrived - asked an employee and...was informed was going to be another 25mins - this long wait was not informed when ordering. Manager was also incredibly rude. AvoidMore

We sat inside the new area, the air con was great! The fish and chips were not great, and the pizzas were alright. Not how the Fork and Tap used to be unfortunately

Visited the Fork & Tap to get away from the noisy bars of Queenstown for a more peaceful dinner and we weren’t disappointed. The atmosphere is of a traditional English pub with background music and friendly locals. Bar manager Larry (from Connecticut) was welcoming and...the food was excellent and well priced. Lots of local beers to choose from and bar staff were friendly and helpful.More

This is a vibrant restaurant/bar in Arrowtown. We were welcomed at 3:45pm on a Wednesday afternoon by the friendly staff who said food was still being served. This food was delicious and arrived quickly. The special salmon of the day with couscous and broccoli was...particularly good. The side salad was so fresh with perfect dressing. And the half portion of fries was perfect for two. The barman actually suggested half rather than full. He also poured three generous measures of local pinot noirs to taste before choosing which I preferred to order. My husband enjoyed the local craft beers. An absolutely fab place. We will be back.More

Great food, great service. We had dinner here on a fairly busy Friday evening. Really friendly barman who was happy to chat & talk us through the wine list. Equally friendly & efficient waitress who spent time to chat about the menu. Would absolutely recommend...this place - the salmon, halloumi salad and chicken salad were all delicious.More

Buzzing place, enjoyed people watching. The only complaints would be the food took soso long to come out & the Carolina sandwich was luke warm. Staff just too busy to bother telling them & didn't want to wait again. Would return & recommend.

I doubt it, but to be honest I don't know. I assumed it was a walk-in pub arrangement, but maybe they take bookings too. It would be easy enough to give them a call to ask. Enjoy Arrowtown!
