Stopped in for breakfast on our way from Queenstown to Wanaka. After talking to the waitress we both chose the Turkish Eggs looking for something a bit different. They were absolutely delicious and would certainly come back again just for them. Staff was friendly and...the service was top notch (including the extra large coffee I ordered). Bit hidden in the middle of the village but worth searching out.More

This place has been raved over and recommended to me by so many people. Pretty sure we’ve ended up either somewhere else or just caught them on a bad day. It was very quiet maybe three tables of groups of 2-3 people. Coffee was great...but decided we wouldn’t order food and stay longer than needed due to the service. Blonde waitress who served us was harsh, blunt and even slammed the door. None of us were rude, even after being treated like this, other staff seemed lovely and happy so unsure what was going on. Have literally never left a negative review for anyone... was that bad. However, won’t be recommending to anyone and certainly not revisiting.More

Honestly this super casual looking restaurant surpasses expectations. Every time we visit here we are impressed with the food and service. No wonder it is so popular with regulars and visitors alike. A warm welcome and if busy an accommodating old leather chesterfield to sit...on and wait. One tip though if you are recovering from a knee replacement and the stairs look forbidding it is easy enough to drive around to the back where there is parking. Its worth it honestly. The food is brilliant. Innovative and yummy.More

Delicious brunch of pea and ricotta fritters. Great atmosphere, very busy. I sat at the bar which provided great watching of the chefs. Would happily go back!

We came with a group of friends and we were all shocked with how rude the young waitress that was sorting our table was. It was extremely busy and I completely understand how hard that makes things but she was so unhelpful and rude and...was all done with the most horrible look on her face. When we were finally seated the food was incredible and the male waiter was fantastic and smiley. It was such a shame that the initial interaction took so much from our experience.More
