Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An amazing place to visit. An old favourite. Wonderful ambience, staff and food. One of our favourite places to visit. Sadly I understand it is closing shortly due to the challenges imposed on many businesses over the last few years.

The food here is good but the restaurant is not good for large groups. There is only one table that seats more than four people. We were a group of six and when we arrived two people were at the table that sat 6. We...thought that when that table became free we would be able to move to the larger table so we sat around the smaller table only to be told later that we were not able to move tables. Apparently a group of three that were waiting had priority on the table when it came free. We were told that “it was how they allocated tables for the last 12 years” when we asked to move. Something they didn’t tell us when we sat down. As you can’t book this restaurant it is really only suitable for small groups.More

nicely creative menu choices without being too out there, the food was great. Barista fella is a bit brusque, however, i'd go back for sure.

Interesting decor (it's worth a trip to the toilets!), and enough space between tables. I had the Turkish Eggs - really very good, and a bit different to your regular brunch fare. Perfectly poached eggs - even the ciabatta was delicious. She had the corn...fritters - "best I've ever had". But $9 to add on bacon! Now, it was pretty good bacon I'll admit, and the dish needed it, but that seems a little pricey. Coffee very good, and not pricey. Had take away coffee the next day, and it was consistently good. Only downside is it's very busy at peak times.More

Wonderful place, a lot to see inside, lots of old Nic back things. Exceptional friendly staff. The corn fritters get the corn fitters.

We have been here a number of times. Always good food and service. Small restaurant and hard to get into at times. Worth it though.

We’ll worth the wait. Visited at lunchtime, and as you would expect it was busy, but the friendly staff let us know it was a 20 - 30min wait. The decor was rustic and atmosphere energizing. The food was devine, more than what we expected...after viewing previous reviews. It’s a must if your in Arrowtown, you won’t be disappointed.More

Hidden in the back streets but well worth searching for this place. Food was fantastic as was the service. Portion size was great value, coffee was lovely. We are visiting in busy July and had to wait for a table but was totally worth it.

Suggested by local family to visit, we took their advice and SO glad of it! Very tasty plate of perfectly cooked eggs on hash with salsa, avo and sour cream...yum!! A very friendly waiter, but the only negative was the off hand and verging on...rude waitress, and we noted she was like this to all customers near our table. Such a shame, perhaps if she was having a bad day she should have stayed home?! Still, we will recommend this great eatery on!More

Internationally accented cafe-fare that offers brilliant options for breakfast and lunch. One of the best eateries in the Queenstown area and a longstanding favorite with locals.

today we stopped in to have brunch on our way to Queenstown and are so glad we did. The food was simply delicious - I had the nasi goreng -so fresh and tasty, easily the best I have had forever.full of prawns and crispy sticky...chicken pieces with just the right amount of chilli flakes, nuts lemon, coriander and mint...nearly forgot to add the deep fried egg, which was still runny to add to this dish Yumbo My other half had the corn fritters which come crispy deep fried with creamy centres and a side of smoky bacon dripping with maple syrup , also with a perfectly cooked poached egg. We had the best latte as well. great taste and deeply satisfying all round. Staff are a joy, friendly and helpfulMore
