Internationally accented cafe-fare that offers brilliant options for breakfast and lunch. One of the best eateries in the Queenstown area and a longstanding favorite with locals.

today we stopped in to have brunch on our way to Queenstown and are so glad we did. The food was simply delicious - I had the nasi goreng -so fresh and tasty, easily the best I have had forever.full of prawns and crispy sticky...chicken pieces with just the right amount of chilli flakes, nuts lemon, coriander and mint...nearly forgot to add the deep fried egg, which was still runny to add to this dish Yumbo My other half had the corn fritters which come crispy deep fried with creamy centres and a side of smoky bacon dripping with maple syrup , also with a perfectly cooked poached egg. We had the best latte as well. great taste and deeply satisfying all round. Staff are a joy, friendly and helpfulMore

We have had lunch here several times and never been disappointed. The menu is always full of interesting choices, beautifully served and full of great flavours. You would probably describe the theme as Asian Fusion. Looking forward to the next visit.

Went for Sunday brunch - just as busy and quirky as we remember from our last visit a few years back. Had to wait for a table but only about 10 mins as the staff were very organised and efficient. I had difficulty choosing as...everything sounded so good but finally settled on the venison rendang. Yum. Flavours were perfect (and having travelled through Malaysia I’m a tough rendang judge) and the meat was complimented beautifully by an Asian style salad and flatbread with raita. My partner had the Spanish eggs which were equally commended. Topped off with excellent coffee. Bliss!More

I can’t remember the last time I was so taken aback by a meal. It was incredibly delicious and just so different. I had the Japanese Pancake - highly recommend.

Food was good, however the menu had changed quite a bit, when asked waiting staff about an old menu item - the answer was 'everything changes, man' and 'we used to have many things, man'. Which was a bit odd and unnecessary, a simple and...polite answer would suffice. The music on background was extremely annoying some heavy metal. We won't be visiting this place again.More

While walking around Arrowtown in search of breakfast we discovered The Chop Shop food Merchants on Buckingham Street. We could see people dining outside and decided we would try it. I chose from the light menu which is only available until 11am - I had...a breakfast burrito with black beans, salsa and a fried egg- the menu said "fried eggs" I got one. My husband chose the Turkish poached eggs, garlic, dill, greek yoghurt, chili and grilled bread. He really enjoyed it and it was very popular. Good service and great coffee, would definitely recommend. We will go again when next in town ..More
