It took forever for our order of 4 bagels to be served but it was worth the wait. The bagels were packed full of yummy goodness! I had the smoked kawhai which left me salivating for seconds. Would visit again.

Really good coffee! Bought the beans and some little pottery mugs. Awesome service and a great barista
I definitely recommend this place for breakfast, morning tea, lunch or a snack. We had breakfast - 2 flat whites, 1 "basic" bagel with cream cheese and jam, 1 "flash" bagel with the smoked kahawai, lemon and micro greens. Both beautifully presented and both delicious....The coffee was good, as was the service.More
Best coffee in the Bay of Islands! We visited twice, first for lunch where we had incredible BLAT bagels and flat whites, and had to come back for some more coffee today since it was the best we’ve found while holidaying here. The male French(?)...barista was awesome. Thanks guys, keep it up 😊More
The Hell Hole makes a perfect coffee. Big, deep and smooth with locally roasted beans. The Northland Smoked Kahawai bagel was super yum too :-)
Great customee service great coffee and even better bagels all round great cofee and bagel shop would definitely recommend anyone to visit you wont be dissapointed
You'd think as all they serve is bagels that they'd be the best....hhhhmmmm not yet. The bagels came out of a shop brought bag so probably from the local four square rather than freshly made. They're pretty small and no options. Customer service was a...little blunt on the morning we attended and not all ingredients listed were used. $12 is over priced in my opinion as the bakery along the road offered much more variety and fresh produce for less.More
If you don't mind your coffee out of paper cups or sitting by the sidewalk then it is fine as it tastes good, but there are much nicer places around with good coffee too.
We visited here 3 times during our week long trip to Russell. The coffee is good and beans are from a local roaster. The biggest issue we had was with hygiene and the rude manner of the owner. Please, please don’t smoke, throw your butts...in the gutter and then come in and make coffee without washing your hands. It’s simply gross. Also coffee served with a smile is less bitter. Recommended far better option is the French coffee house 5 the Strand.More
We stopped off here as we were looking for a light bite to eat and this hit the spot. The menu isn’t large but they have good options to choose from. They have a few tables outside so you can eat there.
