Don't get me wrong. This Is a great place to dine. The staff were attentive and friendly and the food tasted great. Only downside was the food was room temp when served. Coffee was great and the wifey liked her hot chocolate. We will be...More

A prime position, and a great place to sit and eat in the sun...but I was underwhelmed. It seemed to promise much - but not deliver. Service started of fine - shown to table and then no one came to take the order. Having waited...More

Came here on a Sunday morning with friends for breakfast. I had the most fabulous smoothie with raspberry lemon ginger and other things, really liked it! Had eggs Florentine, was nice, would prefer sourdough over the muffin. Generous amount of spinach. Was nice but not...More

We had a Sunday brunch which was okay but certainly not outstanding. The eggs Benedict came on a very wet sloppy base(? English muffin) which was not pleasant to eat, and the version of hollandaise sauce served was somewhat overpowered by the addition of alcohol....More

Awesome place for breakfast if you're after something healthy. Caters to all even if you don't want all the health. Friendly staff. Warm and great atmosphere. Will be back again!

In for a late brunch on a sunny day. Friendly service with a smile, a couple of excellent coffees, but the meals were a big disappointment. Very dry cooked breakfast, and the vegetarian burger lacked flavors and was presented without care. Have had far better...More

We visited Morri Street on the recommendation the guy at our accommodation. Clearly popular, it was pretty busy when we arrived. The menu selection isn't huge, but it is different and caters for people with allergies and alternative lifestyles which I think is great. I...More

I may be unpopular here, but I was irked beyond measure with this cafe. It has a prime position, and is airy, light and has an outdoor area too. The coffee is pretty good, and usually consistent. The main reason I went there. The food...More

Clean with plenty of seating option inside or out. Menu options were adequate but not extensive. Big breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly and patient. Coffee was good but not outstanding. A nice place for lunch.

Nice busy cafe. Love this place. Vibrant and good. Had the Ginger Gem with a great Mocchacino. Will be back again and again. Keep up the great work !

Description
Multiple Winner of Best Cafe in Nelson. Bright, busy cafe in an historic building in central Nelson. Strong following of loyal locals but plenty to entice visitors as well. The menu changes seasonally and focuses on fresh, natural flavours that build on a number of ethnic cuisine styles. Our breakfasts have a large fan base with favourites like the Bacon & Eggs and our Pancakes staying on the menu year after year. Lunch includes fresh Salad Bowls, tasty Chicken Satay and the ever popular Pad Thai. There's plenty of fresh baking each day, a healthy kids menu and our coffee is excellent. There are lots of options for wheat, gluten & dairy sensitive people and vegetarians as well.
