Inspired by the flavours and vibrancy of South East Asian street food and hawker markets, Harry’s is an expression of love in food form for a region and people we’ve come to greatly admire and respect. Harry’s Hawker House is a place where fresh flavours and local ingredients are matched with regional wines and beer. But to really kick the evening off, start with one of our cocktails, inspired by Old Shanghai and Singapore, with fresh, seasonal fruit. There are three dining options – the raised Chef’s Dining area and Chef’s Table. Both can be booked (sittings at 6pm and 8pm). Top quality!

We were here on Jan 1 when most of Nelson was closed. Fantastic meal - great service and every dish was beautifully prepared. This is a must-do when in town.

A Class Act!

The food at this Hawker Restaurant was very filling and absolutely exquisite too! I don’t normally say this about Asian Food but this really hit the spot! From the popcorn chicken to the roti to the beef it was all just splendid! I really enjoyed...this and would come back! The Service & Display were also on point, with the waiters being very friendly and the decor and tables being very nice, modern & clean. A Class Act at this Modern Hawker joint.More

Still the best food in town!

The most amazing food - every course we had was delicious and fairly priced. Buzzy atmosphere but still great for a meal with friends. Strongly recommend if you are looking for great food in Nelson. Great service as well!

Amazing food, well presented and Tasty!

The food was amazing! Like actually soo good! We got the squid, sake salmon, courgette dish, popcorn chicken and then the pannacotta dessert and only thing we could fault was some of the coriander on the chicken. Everything was super well presented. Staff were friendly...and we enjoyed sitting by the kitchen watching the chefs cook. They were busy but still super attentive and the food didn’t take long to arrive. Great pricing too! Thank you so much for making our first night in Nelson. We hope to visit again!More

New Year’s Eve Dinner

Very friendly, bubbly and welcoming staff. So good to see Lola was still there as she is awesome. Each of our dishes were amazing and they certainly know their flavour combinations. Staff made the night

Delicious food but a little slow on service

The food was amazing - love the share plate style and it came up really quickly from the kitchen. Loved the fresh local produce and our server was really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately at some point she must have finished her shift and we had...no one drop by the table during the last hour of our dining. Definitely recommend for groups, very reasonably priced and the portions were a greta size for us.More

Great food and very friendly staff

The food was great every time I have visited Harry’s Hawker House. I had the PEPPER WAFU BEEF, miso, charred cabbage, ground rice on a previous occasion and would love to see it on the menu again. It was the best steak I have had.

FANTASTCI NIGHT

Went to Harrys last night for dinner and what a brilliant night. The place looks mazing after the recent renovations, the food was sensational and the service first class. The staff are both super friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere was brilliant. Can't recommend it...highly enough.More
