The Kitchen is a wholefoods cafe at its simplest. We want to inspire you to think differently about the fuel we put in our bodies, to encourage you that making plant based and healthy choices doesn't mean missing out, in fact it's quite the opposite. It's not about being perfect, it's about achieving life balance and wellness through better nutrition and food knowledge. We use the best local produce (organic where possible) and nationally sought suppliers who offer quality natural ingredients, to produce freshly made, tasty seasonal foods for your health and enjoyment. We serve amazing Kokako organic coffee, the freshest of cold pressed juice and on the spot superfood smoothies! so good.

Very friendly (incl dogs!)

Food was a bit naff, sad to say. Nice enough staff. Good location. Water bowl for the mutt. But yeah - very avg kai :(

Thx for the review. Sorry to hear your whole food experience wasn’t amazing. Disappointing as we continually get raving feedback on how great fresh and real food can be created, completely allergen free. Glad your dog got a good drink.

Okay

Five motor bike friends went there today for lunch, coffee came quickly three had smoked salmon chibato breads . alright service slow especially the smoothy average

Thx for the review. Sorry you didn’t enjoy our superfood smoothies - nelson locals tell us they are the best in town as we use only the best ingredients and include things like Maca and chia seeds.

Great variety

Lots of healthy food options here including freshly squeezed juice and smoothies. The coffee was great too. There are plenty of options for seating inside and out and a table for children which makes life easier for parents. The slices are delicious!

Would happily return!

Really nice and interesting menu as well as lots of lovely cabinet food. Catered well with Gluten free, dairy free and low sugar options and baking. Service was unfortunately a bit slow but we we received apology and given some lovely takeaway treats to compensate.

Best breakfast ever!

Recommend as a fabulous breakfast, did not disappoint! Ingredients extraordinary, presentation superb, also tasted great. A must if you are swinging by Nelson.

Delicious

Just had a delicious open sandwich in Kitchen. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating when I want to add a poached egg to my lunch. Food was very tasty. Would recommend if you are in the area.

Lovely healthy salads and sandwiches, lots of Paleo and GF options!

The Kitchen provides a large variety of delicious and healthy meals, coffees, smoothies, juices and sweet treats. A special mention for the granola which was the best I've ever had!

Delicious Fresh Food

Yum. The food here is fresh delicious and healthy. They even have hot Cacao which was a total winner in my books. Totally recommend visiting, so good.
