We have visited the Galley several times, it never dissapoints. Situated right on the edge of Friendly Bay, you can see, hear and sometimes smell the ocean. Windows fold all the way open with great views. I can recommand the blue cod meal, the quality...is constant, the cod, the salad, the sauce and the chips, its all good.More

We visited here on a busy Sunday for lunch. Managed to secure a seat overlooking the water - lovely spot! We shared a plate of blue cod and chips - one of the nicest fish n chip meals we have had and a panini from...the counter. All brought to us quickly and with a smile - will stop by again.More

Liked the idea of the situation so went for lunch. There was a lovely array of cabinet food but we chose from the menu. The food arrived quickly and was well cooked. Would go back again.

We were lucky to get a seat looking out over the water. One of the best date scones I've had and it was huge, the ginger loaf was good and fully of ginger flavour. The coffee not the best for me, it was super hot...and I thought a little burnt but I did finish it. Would be back for the food and views but not the coffee.More

Taken to The Galley by locals who are regulars and can see why. Beautiful views out over the harbour and cafe right on the waterfront. Very busy and popular but plenty of staff and good service. Easy access. Food well-cooked and staff helpful. Good selection...from the menu and lots of home-made cabinet food. Exterior of building unappealing but don't let this put you off. Would be excellent venue for special occasion. We would go back.More

A great selection of food for either brunch, morning tea or lunch. Lots of home made goodies in the cabinet to choose from or off the menu. Staff were friendly and attentive and views were lovely.

Have been to this awesome wee cafe a few times, it sits right on the waterfront with beautiful views. Staff are alway friendly and welcoming. I can recommend the chicken waffles, they were amazing! Breakfasts are really good to, definitely recommend the gallery cafe, there’s...something for everyoneMore

Fabulous location looking over Friendly Bay. Inspired architecture with very appropriate decor. The coffee was excellent but slow (to be fair the notice said “made with love takes time”) but it took a little too long considering not many customers. Dates scone was tasty
