Great brunch spot near the historic precinct. The cafe is connected to Cucina restaurant and they share some truly beautiful bathrooms. Tees st cafe serve fresh, healthy options. Today we had chicken tacos, which were able to be made gluten free, and they were delicious!...Just the right sized portion.More

We usually always pass through Oamaru and had never stopped at the gorgeous quirky Victorian precinct. Was recommended to go to this Amazing Cafe. Loved the many plants in the Cucina area, relaxed setting and delicious food. The hot chocolate with coconut milk is the...best I've ever had, we will be back! Only feedback would be to wipe tables in between customers and check once if everything is going well.More

I visited Tees Street Cafe with some friends for a coffee and snack lunch. I ordered a 'home-made' chicken and mushroom pie which cost $10.50. At that price I expected a sprinkling of salad at least. There was a small portion of tomoato relish. The...pie was nothing special and certainly smaller in size and content than the pie I had bought at New World (Oamaru) supermarket two days before for just $3.99. The New World pie was also labelled 'home made' and was so much nicer and more filling than the cafe pie. My friends had ham and cheese croissants at the cafe and they also felt they were overpriced, and with neither salad nor relish!More

Sadly staff didn’t seem to care about clearing tables, from previous diners. Come on, we love this cafe, don’t ruin the great reputation of this lovely cafe, by not keeping tables cleared & cleaned, which is super important in these times !

Once again we went on recommendation. There was a nice choice of cabinet food but we chose from the menu. The food arrived quickly and was nicely cooked. Would definitely go back again.

Lunched here on the 13 th Jan. Had very long wait for straightforward food, pies arrived cold, and even after a requested reheat were lukewarm. Staff seemed unfocussed and disinterested, we had to source our cutlery from surrounding tables. Went there because of some great...reviews, sadly they do not match our experience.More

Seemed like a nice vibe if a little disorganised (three different people wanted to see our vaccine passports). They told us it would be a 20-25 minute wait but the menu looked great so we took them up on it. After 35 minutes asked how...it was going, that waitress never returned with an update. Chased again at 45 minute mark only to discover that our order hadn't been started on. Sadly didn't get to try the food as we left at that point but do not at all recommend as a place to stop on a road trip as you may be there significantly longer than you are expectingMore

So many delicious options to choose from but I had the Supercharged breakfast. Lots of flavour and the hot smoked salmon was outstanding. One egg slightly underdone for my liking. I'd definitely eat here again. Lady behind the till was friendly and helpful. TY

We stopped in for a quick lunch enroute to Dunedin. A few good things and a few bad things. The good...nice surroundings, music comfortable and quiet, not overwhelming. Nice menu options. The bad.. a confusing layout, sweet items and coffee delivered before mains, rushed staff,...toilet rolls and paper on the floor in the loos, bitter overextracted coffee. I had to ask for sugar, which was in another room. I had grilled asparagus, was lovely, with fresh ingredients. He had Pork Baobuns which were a disappointment. Just a filled sandwich really.More
