This is always our stop if driving north of Dunedin. The food is always good, great selection. They know how to make a great cup of coffee.

After a wander through the Victorian precinct we were ready for an easy lunch and found it here. We enjoyed sitting outside on a nice summer day. We both had chicken & cheese toasties, and shared the fries.

Excellent, strong coffee. Not bitter at all. The best so far anywhere in NZ by a long way. Served promptly by very pleasant staff. Delicious lemon and coconut slice. Would definitely go back.

We always stop at this cafe when travelling through Oamaru. The coffee is excellent and this time we tried their raspberry double chocolate muffins. Delicious! Highly recommend this cafe both to travellers and locals.

Coffee was weak and bitter as was the service. Too much trouble apparently to wipe the table properly.

Let me tell you that the portions are generous, the coffee is good, and the pumpkin soup that I had was full of flavour and really had a kick to it. The owners put their heart and soul into making this an experience rather than...just a meal.More
