Always have welcome service and delicious vegetarian options. Their caramalised onion tart, and feta and roast cauliflower salads are irresistible!
We stopped in for coffee. That and the carrot cake was excellent! We had to go back for lunch. And that was also excellent! The avocado, feta, salmon stack was Devine! And thanks to the staff - because they were also excellent (I can’t remember...the names - sorry!)More
Six of us had a lovely leisurely lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and would recommend. Will go again when we are there Also known as the Woolstore.
Our only expectation when we arrived was that we might get good coffee at a café with an Italian name - we were delighted with how much more we received! This is a lovely café - elegant and tranquil - and the food was excellent....The staff were welcoming and helpful. I had a 'constructed meal' to suit my need for gf - bacon, eggs, mushrooms and spinach. The meal was plentiful and every part was fresh and well-cooked. My partner enjoyed his French toast very much too - a perfect combination of sweet and savory.More
If you’re an oats fan get the porridge; it is a jar filled to the brim of steaming hot porridge and berries and rhubarb. Delectable. The full breakfast was tasty and massive and not too be taken lightly. My man couldn’t eat it all. Lovely...setting amongst the Old Victorian precinct.More
Enjoyed a delicious breakfast of porridge with mixed berry compote. The presentation was excellent and it was a generous serving. The warm fire was welcoming and gave the cafe a relaxing feel. The service was really good and the staff were friendly. Would definitely eat...there again. Highly recommend.More
Awesome place to eat with great menu and cabinet food. Best coffee in Oamaru! Super friendly staff and perfectly located for exploring the old town.
This is in the white stone Victorian part of town. It was a cloudy and miserable day when we were there so the soup for lunch was a welcome warmer. Came with some bread and butter and the coffee was good too.
Had lunch with the family - loved the seafood chowder, the chicken burger and the pancake. Pleasant decor and vibes, friendly service and good variety. Good prices.
