Spectacular menu of the day, with homemade food and good products.
For €11 you can choose between 11 starters and 11 seconds, with bread, drink and dessert. They also welcome you with an appetizer that is already worth it, some spectacular fries and some very well dressed olives.

Family lunch on a Sunday. We ordered menus and there was plenty of food. The dishes are very rich and abundant. The monkfish pilpil with eels is exquisite. The pepper sirloin is very good. The delicious carrot cake. Very attentive waiters. Everything perfect, we will repeat.

We pulled off the highway for a weekday lunch and not only was this a pretty little town, but we were very happy to have stopped in at this tavern-style restaurant.
The menu was incredibly only 8.50 euros with a selection of about 8 first and second courses.
The dish of the day was lentils, which was superb, and I also had grilled fish which was cooked perfectly.
The meals only come with 1 side, either potatoes or a salad, but that was plenty, it was tasty and excellent value.
For dessert we had the homemade "tarta de galletas" or biscuit cake, which I highly recommend if on offer.
The service was friendly, and if you engage the owner he is happy to tell you about the local produce, from chorizos to morcillas to olive oils.
Highly recommended.

I had last been eating here just a year ago, returning from vacation.
To my surprise, it seems that they no longer have their famous menu available and instead have a somewhat decompensated menu with somewhat expensive prices considering that it is a meson in a village that is somewhat retired.
No wonder last year was practically full despite the dates and this year we are just 3 months away.
