This is a gem of a place for dinner. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and prompt, and they are very accomodating - particularly for families. The veggie platter was great value, and was delicious.

We are big fans of indian food and i had the best chicken kahndi from here, and hubby had butter chicken. The chicken was juicy and there was plenty of it in each dish.

Highly recommend the food. We tried the butter chicken , malai kofta which was the nicest Indian I have tasted. First time I've tried a mango lassi and it did not disappoint . Thanks for your wonderful service and best wishes for your future.

We went here for dinner and were so glad we did. The food was wonderful and the service even better. The waitstaff were obviously total professionals and service was on par with some of the best. Super friendly and prompt and they paid attention to every detail. The food was awesome as well - exactly what I was hoping for.... More

Tired and hungry we walked the streets of Kiakoura after a long days travel, many eateries were closed and the few that were open either 'fast food' or offering pub grub. Don't be deceived from the exterior or even the lack of atmosphere when entering this restaurant because the food is excellent, yes I can verify fresh spices, really tasty... More

The appearance is unprepossessing but it is well located on the main street and the food was very good.

We were here before the earthquakes and it was really good but wanted to revisit now. Not disappointed. The food was very nice and the staff/owners were great. A lovely restaurant with really good food at a reasonable price. We will be back.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. I had the chicken tikka masala and he had the madras chicken. Both dishes were flavorful and delicious. We also had the garlic naan and tandoori roti and finished our meal with gulab jamun for dessert. I would definitely eat here again!

We went here the other night, it was not to busy so got a table easily. We all had something different and were all very happy with what we had. Were surprised at how reasonable the meals were and the drinks very good. Looked to be very busy with takeaways there was a constant flow of traffic for them, understandable... More
