Had a breakfast here, prior to a long road trip. Great food and coffee, friendly staff and well worth a visit.

We had breakfast at the cafe before our whale watching trip. Good food! I don't remember what we all had, but think it was bacon and eggs, french toast, and eggs benedict?
Lovely food and several gluten free options, for example a gluten free vegetable lasagne. Coffee is good. No wifi and pay before eat. Location is in the centre, ideal. Possible to sit outside in the back. Staff is very friendly.
We wait long which was not worth when we received our coffee. Coffee taste like Luke warm water,i ask for hot.Staff was friendly.Good spot in town.

It's the first time we've been there since the quake but it's pre-quake high standard was still there. The only complaint was that it was cold inside.
