The fish did not taste all that fresh. Used lemon to camouflage a little of the “frozen” taste.
But perhaps this was an one-off incident? The cafe was brimming with patrons, many of them looked local. Surely they wouldn’t be here on a Fri afternoon...More
If in Greymouth on a drive along the West Coast, you should defenitely taste their "Egg Benedict", - which I had 1. Time ever. The fish and chips where excellent! Quick served (unfortenetly not very cherful) Else good experience.
