Fresh food, friendly service and decent sized cups of coffee. Easy to find but, if not, keep looking! A good mix of cabinet and menu food. Can you open a branch in Christchurch? Please! I'll be back when on the coast.

Every time I go to Greymouth I go to Maggies for a meal. Sometimes I ️time it right and get whitebait. Sometimes I'm unlucky. The food is always well cooked, and hot, or cold if you want a cold meal.. There is an array of...More

Breakfast was great and was a huge serving. The French toast was good, the bacon was great. Big Brekky was amazing, more than one person needs. A little bit of everything and it was all tremendous. Coffee and tea were as expected.

A group of us hungry guys went for breakfast and it hot the spot. Great food and enough of it to set us up for the day. Loved the coffee and hot chocolate too.

We stopped here before heading back to Christchurch. It was nice and cosy. Nice and busy and the food was fresh

We love their wedges with sour cream, chili sauce, bacon and cheese. It's a simple meal but we love it. Never a huge wait and great cheeky service

Warmly welcomed by the host my partner's vegan request was handled with great care whilst my "big" breakfast was hearty and arrived in good time accompanied by a generous serving of toast. The coffee was great and we enjoyed the historical photos adorning the walls...More

I had a yummy veg omelette and a cheese scone which was fine but not amazing. The chai latte was a sweet and flavorful warm cup of goodness and the people were friendly.

I am wondering what $ = cheap eats as compared with mid range and high price in a restaurant. I put what I thought for Sampan and Steamers but was just guessing really. I have been once to this one (Maggie's) too, but I am not really sure what to tick when trip advisor asks about the cost? Not just for this one - in the case of all restaurants(?)
