I can see why it scores high on 'value'. The meals are good quality and very large - good for groups and familys.

The place we were staying suggested we go here and all the reviews were great. Have to say the food was absolutely sensational in every way. Only thing to be mindful of is don’t eat breakfast or lunch before hand as the meals are huge....As good as and any great Auckland restaurant with portions twice the side. Well done.More

This place was busy and we were served promptly and nicely by the waiting staff. The meals were huge so we got the Whitebait entree size and the chicken to share as mains. The fritter was packed with whitebait and very tasty. Chicken was very...tasty also. Would recommend!More

The service is great. Lovely staff. Hence the 3 Stars. Unfortunately the food wasn’t. The roast was plated up terribly. Huge portions which would appeal to some, but I felt like it was just overloaded with fatty gristly meat and doused in gravy. They could...serve half the amount with a bit more care and it would be a great meal. Unfortunately the tiramisu was runny like a milkshake, inedible. I used to come to this restaurant 10 years ago and it was amazing, maybe a change of owners or staffing. Maybe they were just having a bad night.More

we got chance to visit Greymouth's most busiest place in town. The restaurant was very warm, great food options in menu and service was amazing. The Surf and turf steak 🥩 was so delicious 😋 and perfect cooked, my Partner had two piece of Salmon....Very friendly and efficient staff. We really enjoyed our date night. ☺️More

Really good food. Very busy place and popular with locals so that is a good recommendation. We’ve eaten there before and it didn’t disappoint this time either. Nice and warm on a cold night.

Great service, lovely atmosphere, and best of all lovely food. Hubby had the tomahawk steak and I had the scallops with cauliflower rice - we shared, both were delish and serving sizesreally generous. Given we also had entrees, calamari and oysters, we will now waddle...home contentMore

A great place for dinner. We came here, without a reservation, on a very wet wintery night. The staff were very nice and accomodated us for a table of 7. The selection on the menu was a good variety and the wine selection complimented it...well. The prices were reasonable. I had the lamb shanks with mash. It was cooked to perfection with great flavour. Would definitely visit again.More

Arrived in Greymouth hungry at 7pm on a Monday, and this place was packed with locals - always a good sign. We came on the recommendation of our motelier, and were not disappointed. The venison, roast of the day and blue cod were all outstanding...(generously sized too), and the wine + craft beer list is really good. Friendly and hospitable service.More

We went there for a meal and it was very full. Nevertheless, the service, the food and atmosphere was great.
