Handy location and modern decor was s enhanced by the great service, perfect coffee, and delicious baked goods. The breakfasts were only marginally less appealing - the bacon was perfect while the pancakes were only so so. Regardless, we’ll be back for sure.
The salads here were delicious.. I also had a cheese roll which was not. My friend had a Reuben sandwich was also delicious. I recommend the Salmon salad & the Supersalad. Coffee was excellent. & the bliss ball & other cake we had were also...delicious. Staff were friendly. I was however concerned about the poor mask wearing by the staff. 2 of the staff wore masks underneath their noses & the owner was not wearing a mask at all. I travelled from the North Island to the town & although I felt safe I was concerned for the staff when dealing with tourists. However do try this place - delicious food & coffee.More
The vegetarian breakfast was the best I have had , the carrots were cooked to perfection, mushrooms were amazing topped off with a perfectly cooked egg.
The coffee is good and service was fast, friendly and efficient.
Only a short sojourn in Greymouth so sought recommendation from the i-Site staff to make the most of our morning. We were not disappointed! Good range of options in the cabinet, so didn’t even browse the menu (although a quick look before we left and...it looked great too). Friendly, helpful staff and seemed a popular spot with locals of all ages. A cosy stop on a damp Monday morning. Couldn’t resist taking a couple of extra scones for later ;)More
It can be a dinner challenge to seek out fresh, unadulterated food in an unknown town. Greymouth is the terminal stop of the Tranzalpine train departing from Christchurch. Sevenpenny, just off the main drag on a cold west coast May night, is cheery and warm....Pan fried king prawns with roasted pineapple was the perfect seafood plate with a glass of Marlborough rose. What more could you want? Triple cooked chips? They’re on the menu along with other delicious choices. Coffee hits the spot as well. The cafe staff suggest sharing plates, or you can choose mains which are very generous. Mmm mmm.More
