Had a meal here. Food tasty but far too slow in arriving. Serving staff had to be called over to take order. and the bar staff don't know the difference between bourbon and scotch whisky. Had to have 3 attempts to get it right.

Open early for the 6 year olds with a menu that should satisfy even the picky eaters. Lovely to share variety of dishes to sample different tastes. A lovely family shared event
Not very often we rate a restaurant 5 from 5 but hard to fault No.8. Service was excellent, best we’ve had in a long time, food was superb, especially the Vietnamese salad and the bau buns. We sat outside and the kids played on the...grass area out front which is a bonus for any parent. Will be backMore
Eaten at this restaurant 3 times now. The first time was pretty reasonable. The last twice have been completely underwhelming and overpriced…food was not delivering on flavour and portions were measly. My favourite example of overpricing was when with dessert I asked for plain vanilla...ice cream instead of the pineapple ice cream it usually came with…I was told I could have vanilla but it would cost extra?!!…like seriously, when did plain old vanilla cost extra. We’ve given this place the benefit of the doubt but won’t w making the same mistake a 4th time.More
We went for a nice evening dinner one rainy Saturday. The lady on the front door was very pleasant and showed us to our table. We had a table upstairs on the balcony - the balcony is screened in with gas heaters so it was...lovely and warm. We ordered a selection of tapas type small plates. Our drinks and some of the food came very promptly. The food was very nice and we enjoyed all of it. Unfortunately our fries didn't arrive until well after we had finished everything else. We then wanted to look at the deserts and it seems our waiter had no interest on serving us any longer. We managed to hijack one of the waitresses from another table who took our order for desert. Our waiter dint show up gang until I asked for the bill. It was a nice meal overall but a little more attention from the waiter would have been nie. We will try it again and see if that was a one-off.More
We were looking at the banquet but were expected to pay $79 each for our 6 and 10 year old as well. The meal flavours were not so much 'fusion' as 'confusing' and the advertised 'shanks' (plural) was actually 1 small shank. The ambiance was...pleasant but the meals did not match the prices.More
I get the most enjoyment from visiting this place when you can share the tapa-style meals and enjoy a cocktail. They have a nice array of cocktails that both taste and look amazing, my favourite has been the lychee mojito. And of the share plates...- the kale salad with satay dressing is always a must! The setting is very warm and cosy, with Asian influences. The bar looks spectacular at nighttime when all lit up.More
The food is amazing! Great variety as well and the atmosphere is fantastic. And to top it off....beautiful location at the Whangarei wharf. This is a must visit if you’re in Whangarei. We’ve also been to the one in Mt Maunganui and that one is...fabulous as well.More
Service was good and staff pleasant. The pork belly was good. The chicken satay was greasy and way too salty.the steamed dumplings tasted strange. It seemed like the flavors used were not compatible and didn't blend well. Overall not an enjoyable meal.
We had a crew lunch here after crossing the Tasman. It was the first meal off the yacht after 12 days and didn’t disappoint. Great food and friendly service.
