We loved the fresh cream and jam scomes we got as takeaway for morning tea. They were huge and very tasty.

Wonderful kiwi breakfast and welcoming staff. Attractions to look at in the cafe itself. Also the most amazing pies, can be taken away and frozen. I find one is too big for me so make mine last a couple of days.

I would suggest going to Kirsty's if you were after one of their famous pies and to enjoy the decor inside the cafe. There were so many interesting things to look at, including woodworking tools, NZ themed books, old fashioned biscuit and tea tins, etc....More
