We were recommended Kung Fu Yoga and had never been before. Came tonight and so glad we did. The flavours were delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Will definitely be back and recommend it. Service was great too

Absolutely beautiful South Indian food. Fresh spices with a tropical touch. Portions aren't too big so you can enjoy a mix of entrees and mains without feeling overloaded. We shared plates between us so got to sample many different dishes. Nothing disappointed. This food is...a breath of fresh air. Lighter than the northern Indian cuisine, and not at all greasy.More

Had a superb meal here as a couple but could see it caters for all sizes. The food was a very unique Indian Asian food and totally enjoyed it. The Sizzzling Lamb dish was something of a culinary experience I'd never had before and the...Sizzling Fish in kind looked superb. It will be a frequent stop on any Wanganui visit in future. Although they are only currently open in evenings they could do well to run weekend lunch time. The Alcohol license was pending for licensed at the time but BYO was available and will be licensed soon (may21) they say.More

This was a surprise as we walked in off the street with no recommendations and at the time the restaurant was empty. But we were served quickly, drinks delivered and ordered from the menu that looked fantastic. It even included Butter Chicken for the kids...amongst the South Indian delights. The food was so good! The Masala Dosa was delicious, perfect and just like what I've had in India. The Lamb Kerala curry was super tasty and tender. The cauliflower Manchurian was delicious, the butter chicken was demolished and 'the best' according to the kids along with the Paratha. All in all a beautiful meal and friendly service. Thank youMore

Warm welcome on arrival with drinks orders taken and promptly delivered. The menu is an interesting combination of Keralan with oriental touches which meant there was a range of curries and other dishes we’d not seen before and were curious to try, as well as...butter chicken and other classics. We had the chicken starter which was a generous portion of tender drumsticks coated in spicy sauce and served with a fantastic pickle. Mains were a saucy, peppery beef curry and a sizzling fish dish. Both were delicious, good spice level and the paratha were light as air! It’s so nice to come out for a curry and try different dishes, we will be back for more!More

Never tried South India food before, but would definitely eat it again. The waiter helpfully explained the dishes and made recommendations. We split a main as an entree so as to try the Masala Dosa, which was excellent. Never been a fish curry person before...but their's was excellent, as was my wife's prawn dish. Sensible sized portion of rice between us. Would definitely recommend and will be back next time we're in Whanganui. Too busy enjoying the food to remember to take to take photos of the itMore
