Managed to book a table on a very busy mothers day lunch time. My daughter asked for a non-dairy iced chocolate - no problem at all and at the same time the server pointed out there was cheese in her meal which my daughter had...forgotten to ask to be remove (great spotting there) so that was really great attention to detail, I got the curry which was really yum... Really enjoyed our meal out... always a great atmosphere and although they were frantically busy we got good service. A place in Palmerston North that you can always guarantee you will get great food.More

Returned here several times for one of the best cafe omelettes. Good variety of indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent coffee too

A wee diamond on the corner of Cuba street a great place for a cheeky breakfast or brunch and having a partner gf and on keto it was great to see a lot of options. Also great to see the emergency services use this wee...diamond to. As a chef from out side of the area I would highly recommend them to everyone, go and be amazed as how well this miltary operation is run and the awesome southern fried benny and the keto benny .More

Atmosphere was great, and for the most part friendly helpful staff. Not so at the counter when I asked for a gf toasted sandwich. Was met with a sneer and derision and told that they “don’t make gf toasted sandwiches on the weekend”. Few other...savoury gf and egg free options. Very disappointing as the rest of the food and service was good.More

We had lunch on Saturday. The food was fine but on near the end of my wife's coffee there was a thick piece of paper in the bottom of the cup. When told of this the reply was "looks like a piece of rubbish-sorry" Well...that made us feel good! We had to ask for a refund- not offered. However the food was good so we returned for breakfast on Sunday. Obviously busy but the off the shoulder comments. and attitude of wait staff ( chunky fair headed girl) wasn't good so we decided to go somewhere else. The food is good and yes coffee good when nothing in it just issues let them down. On last visit I gave a good review but as can be seen in other reviews this cafe runs hot and cold sometimes. A little bit of leadership to tidy things up is needed and it will be all round very good..More

Friendly staff and a great selection of food. Definitely not overpriced. Little bit disappointed in the vanilla slice/cake as it seemed to be stale. If I was back up that way I would go again

Had breakfast here when visiting Palmerston North on business. Cafe Cuba came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Enjoyed the baby breakfast but a little disappointing to pay surcharge for scrambled eggs, rather than poached. They also had really nice cabinet food. I've no doubt...food at any time of the day would be enjoyable here. The service was fast and friendly.More
