Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Been there about 5 times before & all good -- except this time. I can understand with COVID 7 infaltion that they have to increase their prices but by $5? This time, the steak seemed smaller & the so called salad wouldn't even fill a...$5 note. Don't mind the wait especially on the special steak nights. The wait staff are fantastic. Would I go back again? Maybe not in the near future as I have other places to try out & review.More

This is always a favourite! I just love the atmosphere of a bar with live music playing and a well stocked bar. Reminds me of England! The food was good but unfortunately the three of us didn't get our meals all at the same time....I had finished mine before my husband go this!More

I dined here on opening night after lockdown after a new chef had revamped the menue, cleaned up the kitchen and started retraining the original staff and started upskillin some new staff. What a difference, Grant Kitchen has transformed the food with an amazing new...menu with great food. My steak was enormous and cooked to protection, very tender. This would be one of the best quality pieces of meat ive eaten. The pulled pork arencheni balls were delicious This kitchen is selling top quality food and the protions are very generasi. This is far far better than standard pub food, the new chef has transformed this mania to a standard pub menu to every high quality food experience This place is a must for dining now.More

Bar staff are friendly and tables cleared.$9 for a pint. However they have partitions that are not required, and when a band is playing you cannot see.It is outdated and only 3 barstools who wants to stand all night? It is an Irish bar so a fire would...be nice. This bar needs some TLC only reason it survives is there are other bars in close proximity.More

Visited while here for graduation. Great little Irish pub, hidden away done an alley way with a heap of other little shops. Loved the traditional style of the pub, welcoming, warm and relaxed. Didn't stay for the food this time but think will come back...as enjoyed chilling out with a couple of ales.More

Review based on having a couple of pints of Guinness on a warm afternoon, enjoying the view of a very good looking barmaid so as a bloke- it’s probably a bit biast but hey I liked it here. Cosy, eclectic and bloody good Guinness here....I was warmly welcomed and my pint brought out to me, the staff were well presented & the Inn was welcoming. Will come back and try out the food I reckon.More

I was looking forward to a good Pub meal ended up with the smallest piece of fish I have ever seen. I didn't want it to be battered or crumbed but they put no seasoning on the fish at all so had no flavour. I...was given about a quarter of a punnet of chips and salad on my plate so was still hungry which is saying something as I am a very small eater. My husband ordered the sausage and mash which was in a pudding bowl so once again was a very small amount and had no peas with it. At $23 and $22 I expected a much bigger piece of fish (like you get at the fish and chip shop) and some seasoning and a bit more sausage and mash. You shouldn't still be hungry when you get a pub meal. We really enjoyed the music, staff were lovely, and the great atmosphere so will be back but not for a meal.More

A $10.00 lunch and a $15.00 dinner what more could you ask for. We went for lunch and there were about 8-10 choices on the lunch menu to choose from - schnitzel, omelette, burger, fish and chips, just to name a few and a salad...with it. Generous portions and fantastic value for money. Great taste too and friendly service. You can sit outside or inMore
