Had a reservation for 8 people. First round of drinks took a long time. Then ordered garlic bread for entree. We're then told mains would be min. 40 minutes! 2 of us ordered Ribs... only to be told no ribs left. 2 of us ordered...$15 steak.. had not been told $15 steak was only steak and fries, no greens. Ordered steak as medium, arrived well done. 1 of us ordered nachos.... there had been no mention of Chilli sauce covering nachos. Unedible even though 2 of us tried to eat them. Note had reservation for 6.30pm, mains arrived after 8pm. Seems priority given to ordering online. Waitress was amazing, felt sorry for her.More

We were a group of 50 that visited for breakfast and they exceeded our expectations. Good friendly service, great food and coffee and nice surroundings. Just the best!

Great service. Great beer. Has the chef ever had nachos?? The chef must go and try nachos elsewhere. Tough ground beef with no flavour does not a nacho make!!! Ours wasn’t the only uneaten plate of nachos left by customers. Really not a hard dish...to get right!!More

This is a Monteith's Bar. Sadly the staff seemed more interested chatting with mates whilst watching the queue at the bar grow longer and longer. No apologies for the wait and distracted service. Ordered nachos, they were huge! Perfect size to share. Perfect chip to...topping ratio but disappointingly the beef was tasteless. Redeeming feature....the outside courtyard is a beautiful and shady spot to sit and sup a cold brew on a hot, sunny day.More

Great place to go for a beer, often head down on a Friday. Don’t recommend going for a meal any time soon. Went there last month and ordered a basic fish and chips meal and my girlfriend ordered a chicken dish. The fish was so...over cooked I could bang it on the table and it still wouldn’t break, it was also dark brown/black, which you could take a guess that means burnt. It was very expensive too. The chicken meal wasn’t bad, but was less than you’d expect for the price paid - which I’ll add was also very steep.More

We have dined here twice in the last couple of months and have been impressed by the beer variety and the quality of the pizza.

Extremely disappointed and left hungry , currently eat roast shop and McDonald’s. Ordered platters one of each on the menu, meat overcooked and little of it , coleslaw straight out of a bag from pak n save, guacamole definitely a packet . I could go...on and on about the food, just terrible. The service was no better, took ages to get the drinks and no one asking if anyone would like another, the staff were miserable and inattentive. I’m not sure if the place has new owners or a new chef but needs sorting out as this place used to be much better, won’t be going back any time soon .More

Popped into 'The Brewers' for a set 2 course dinner ahead of seeing an intimate show with comedian Ben Hurley. Lovely chicken dish and a not too bad Tiramisu. You do need to try some of the new ales on tap!
