Jackos would have to be my favorite place to eat in Palmy. Food, service and atmosphere are tops. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend your café to all.

This is our favourite place for French Toast and Lambs Fry & Bacon. The last mentioned is not common in PN. After "doing" George St. Market Day (no cars) and so waiting for the crowd to leave we obtain seats. Jacko took our order and...commented he would find some suitable bread as the "usual" had run out. We commented that our choices were still the best in town upon paying and leaving.More

Went here with my partners family. The review is based on all of our dishes. We got the tomato avo feta bacon bagel, mince on toast, omelette and eggs Benedict with bacon. Pros: The food tasted amazing, no complaints there! Also really good portion sizes,...you can actually chose to have a half size which is equivalent to a full size at other cafes. The presentation was also very nice and prices were reasonable. Oh and their tumeric latte was delicious!! Cons: Took a while to get our order and it wasn’t that busy either. Also, and this is just being picky, but the avocado on the bagel was very scarce, it would have been about a quarter of an avo if not less. Overall it was pretty good and I will likely go back!More

Busy day today at the cafe being Easter Monday. Coffees were great and arrived pretty quickly. Ordered a chicken sammie which was terrible. The chicken was cold, the Brie was melted and cold and the sourdough bread turned out to be two white slices of...tip top bread which went soggy under the chicken and cranberry sauce. When mentioned to the waitress that the bread was rubbish she said the chef ran out of bread, if she’d known she would have told me. Worst sandwich ever - will not be returning.More

We were looking for a place to brunch having visited Palmerston North for a function the night before and chose Cafe Jacko after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed! From the moment we arrived until we left, the service was friendly and...efficient. The portions are generous and the food superbly cooked. We will come back again. Highly recommended.More

Popular cafe - suggest a booking in Weekend. Food good with generous serving. Unfortunately owners not taking social distancing at Level 2 seriously. Be aware and maybe avoid at busy times
