Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Muffelleta x 2 - Reuben sandwich with a big lump of processed ham and no saurkraut. Used to order the Reuben but this has taken its place. Fries xtra and they used to be included. A very small bowl. Pickles? One little gherkin. Fajita bowl-...a few buttercrunch lettuce leaves a handful of coleslaw mix and a spoon of corn on top of a rebel wrap. A dollop of sour cream, a spoon of jarred avocado ( not fresh) a little sweet chilli sauce, and some chicken . Just not good enough. $85 . Very expensive for what it was. As a coeliac I have recommended this place a lot. No more And no more visits.More

Had lunch here to try out their menu. Quite a wide variety of choices to cater for different diets. Can see why it’s so popular with locals at peak lunch times. Ordered their chicken adobo skewers which came with cauliflower rice with ginger. It was...delicious. Just an amazing taste and feast of colours. Also tried their green smoothie, very refreshing. Overall enjoyed the food, ambiance and service! Highly recommend.More

I went for the quiz night. I've been to Munch plenty of times and really enjoyed my time there. Lovely food and service, great atmosphere. But this time I decided to order the menu item "Brie and Mango Chicken Sandwich" for dinner and was so...disappointed. Out came two pieces of sandwich bread and in between were two measly pieces of crumbed chicken and a tiny layer of mango filling. The gluten-free bread was tough to eat, there was hardly any flavour in the sandwich because the filling was so scant. They said there was a salad, there were just salad leaves underneath. It also came with some polanto chips. There were six, but some sauce would've gone a long way because the whole meal became so dry and tasteless. Even my friends who were sitting with me had a good laugh at my meal and said it looked like leftovers. Avoid this menu item at all costs. Total waste of $28.More

I always enjoy my experience at munch. The food is always a hit. I really enjoyed the Texan beef burger during my most recent visit. Atmosphere is very cool and funky.

Visited Munch twice in two days. Great variety on menu and loads of choices from the cabinet too - sweet and savoury. Fantastic destination for coeliac and non-gf alike. Excited to see the range of options available.

Excellent food, service and ambience. We have been here 3 times in our 2 day visit. Caters for all kinds of food intolerances. The decor is eclectic and interesting. Best Cafe for breakfast or lunch in NZ.

I was excited to see a restaurant which had multiple vegan options. However, was very disappointed with what I got. The tofu katsu consisted of 2 small pieces of bland tofu on top of a huge pile of lettuce. This was disappointing considering the price....The other meals seemed very similar to this and definitely not worth the money at all!More

In-laws love this place because it's totally gluten-free. As a gluten lover, I found plenty of options on the menu that looked good. Would return. Nice quirky atmosphere.

Munch cafe is the best. For a celiacs sufferer, it's very comforting to know the food is safe. Their range of cabinet food is extensive and delicious. Eggs bene with bacon and hash brown was scrumptious. Berry smoothie very refreshing. Coffee is good too. Decor...is quirky and interesting. Good service. Everytime I visit Palmy, Munch is a must👍More

Had a wonderful Gluten Free Luncheon with my Family. The food was outstanding as usual and there was something for everyone, Young and Old. I am working my way through their Menu and chose Chicken Laab. It was absolutely delicious. It had great flavours and...a mixture of tasty textures. I had a Belgium Slice as well to go with my Coffee. None of my non Coeliac Family knew it was Gluten Free and are eager to go back again for another Family get together. 10/10 for the wonderful food and service.More

After being greeted at the door ensure that we were compliant with Covid requirements we were pleasantly surprised with not only the atmosphere but also the faire on offer and the service standards. Staff were polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. Food was delivered to our...table quickly and presentation was good. Delicious meal and the benoffee pie milkshake was exceptional. Prices a little on the high side but on reflection worth the price.More
