Had a sizzling platter mix of New Zealand Meats and seafoods, forced to share with flounder dish. Both dishes were amazing, generous portions, best scallops I've had for years
Called in for lunch while on the road! The staff were so friendly and the owner came and had a friendly chat about our trip. The food was good fast and fresh. Sat buy the fire on a rainy day was great would happily return
Great historical restaurant, lots of historic photos and superb meal. Staff were friendly and very attentive. Group of four dined and enjoyed our meals. Salt & pepper squid and sticky pork ribs were exceptional.

Had the Venison as a main and the lamb Cutlets. Both very well presented and delicious. Very informative waitress. Would recommend
It was a quiet Tuesday but the bar and restaurant had a few people dining and the music was playing. The food and service was fabulous, sat in front of the fire was a great spot to enjoy a cold beer and a lovely meal.
We went during happy hour (5-7) and hot 6$ cocktails so definitely recommend doing that. My partner has Thai green curry which was very tasty and I had the stone grill trio with salad and fries which was delicious. Recommend coming here for sure!

We arrived starving after finishing the Old Ghost Road and the team quickly sorted us out with a tasty meal, including looking after our coeliac (me). Friendly, accommodating staff, good food. Would eat again!
