Well priced delicious food. Had Japanese pancake and gyoza. Fast friendly service. Needed cushions for the wooden seats @ the window which we were given after asking. Thank you.

Great Japanese cuisine enjoyed as Tapas. Six dishes plus 2 steamed rice and Edamame provided plenty of food and delicious variety for our family of 4 with teenage girls. Very friendly and accommodating staff with quick service of food. Nice ambience.

We loved our meal and the good service too. I generally don't like Japanese food but this restaurant changed my mind. We will back soon again.

Yummy Japanese tapas. All dishes looked great and tasted amazing. The service was super friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is pleasant. The sashimi platter and seared scallops were favourites.

Tanoshi is an excellent place to eat in Queenstown. Its menu is perfectly designed for you to share with friends and family, or to eat yourself. The food and drinks there is excellent, capturing the theme of Japanese Cuisine perfectly.

Our second visit to Queenstown this year and we went straight back here for dinner one night and takeaway to eat on Perky’s floating bar another. Children’s bento box is awesome - super cute boxes with heaps of yummy food. And our go to is...the Tuna bowl - delicious. Staff are so friendly and nice. A must try for great Japanese food.More

We visited here as a family of four, two of whom are vegetarians. The food was fantastic. We had the tofu, japanese pancakes, cabbage salad, seaweed salad, miso, salmon and pork noodles along with some sake. Every dish was so fresh and tasty. I would...eat it all again. Definitely one to visit.More
