My partner and I came in for the five-course degustation- and could not have been happier with the food and wine matching. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, and the food (particularly the hare and lamb rack) was incredible.

Never had a degustation before and it was wonderful. Our waiter, Chase, was very knowledgeable on the food and wine.

Visited Queenstown a few weeks back and had a table booked at the bunker to see the new renovated restaurant. Just as I expected the new restaurant is better than ever and the food was out of this world . What makes this restaurant so...special is the service. We where blown away from the moment we sat down by the enthusiasm from every staff member and we where treated like royalty. Special thanks to Emma who was always ready with a fun fact and made sure everything was perfect. Thank youMore

Everything was absolutely lovely! The most quaint and unique venue. The waitress, Claudia, was attentive and knowledgeable. Meg has jumped to the top of our list of bartenders in Queenstown. Phenomenal cocktails and service. Honestly everything was a ten out of ten and by far...our dining highlight of our Queenstown trip!! Make sure you pop upstairs to their adjacent cocktail bar and grab yourself a fabulous after dinner cocktail from the amazing bar staff!! 10/10 Five Stars Would recommend recommendMore

Had dinner tonight with the family, whole duck, venison and steak. Food was amazing as usual, the desserts exquisite. To top it up the place is renovated and expanded to at least twice the size so it is spacious, but keeping its signature coziness intact....A must dine venueMore

Claudia our bartender was fab. The food was another level and after-dinner drinks felt exclusive in the lounge vibe bar. We will be back. Look forward to seeing you!

The Bunker has been our favorite fine dining restaurant for the last 7 years. Ben Norfolk is an incredible talent both in the kitchen and in his choice of top flight professional staff. We have loved the faultless food, service and and intimate ambience. We...were delighted to find on dining there this week after a long break during which the restaurant and bar have been totally refurbished, that none of the things we love about it have been lost. incredibly, the feeling is the same but even more luxurious. The menu is full of locally sourced, perfectly cooked, elegantly presented ingredients. No palate or food preference has been overlooked and the wine list reflects the best of local and international wines. Thanks Ben and team for yet another magical night.More

Everything was magnificent. The look of Bunker is so classic. The bar is beautiful and the cocktails were delightful. Staff, especially Emma were so attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Had the degustation with wine pairing and loved it. Each wine was outstanding and matched every beautiful...plate perfectly. Especially loved the rabbit and venison - two plates I wouldn't have chosen for myself but so glad I got to try both. Will definitely be back again.More

Definitely. Likely the best in QT. I'd book early - it's relatively small, and I'd be surprised if it's not booked up pretty early and anyone doing the degustation is going to be there for 2 or 3 hrs - meaning not a big... More

I wore black jeans when I went and I was fine, most other diners were in the same nice casual wear. If you're someone who gets warm easily just be wary, they do have a wood-burning fireplace going (at least when I went) and... More
