This was a great place to eat and have a brew. We ate at Speights several times. The bar is usually busy but we found the staff to be nice. Loved the Chicken Parcels. If you're a light eater, order the entree rather than the...More

We had a beer and a bowl of sweet potato chips - the best! It's a cute little place. It has a fireplace outside with cute old style fold out chairs - warm atmosphere i thought. The service was great, and the chips were ready...More

Went to Speights after a nice win on the Melbourne Cup as it was accross the road from where we were. Excellent food at an excellent price. Best meal we had in Queenstown. The only restaurant that matched was the Skyline, not because of food...More

Hi, don't need to know about this venue, I have had several ales there along with one of the best seafood chowders since I was in Ireland. I also had a few ales and steaks across the road at the old Courthouse Hotel April... More
