Welcome to Brazz Steakhouse & Bar in Queenstown, New Zealand. Brazz is a casual dining restaurant overlooking the village green in the centre of Queenstown. We pride ourselves on providing great quality, fresh food in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Brazz is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner through until late in the evening. We can cater for large groups and small, intimate dining or a great get together with friends. The classic rustic atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the outside seating receives the afternoon sun. Brazz specialises in chargrilled 100% Hereford Prime beef, legendary ribs, and of course famous New Zealand Lamb and Fish dishes. Great food, good service overall

Nice food - garlic bread was great, original ribs with their chips were nice (excellent seasoning on the chips). The sweet chilli sauce that came out with the garlic bread was really good with the chips. The El Diablo cocktail was good - a bit heavier on the cucumber flavour than I expected (not having tried an El Diablo before) but well worth a try. New York Cheese Cake was excellent. Maybe a stronger cream cheese flavour than usual but definitely not in a bad way. Service was great for most of the meal, questions about food options answered happily - but did have to ask for the desserts menu after waiting for a while. Service was fast again after that. They also offerred to pack up the left over garlic bread to take away which they were explicitly not obligated to allow under a First Table booking, so that was really nice =) Overall very good experience.

Great steak house. Amazing atmosphere with friendly staff. Great food . Had the amazing ribs!!!! All staff very friendly and great with the children too. Waitress Annmarie was very good and had good knowledge of the menu and ingredients if allergic to some items. Great place to dine out.

Breakfast hit the spot!

We were looking for a place to have breakfast with our big family group, Brazz was perfect for us as there was lots of space and heaps of hearty choices on the breakfast menu. Everyone left feeling full! Our waitress was so lovely too, sorry we can't recall her name but she was great with our kids, making sure they got their meals first and giving them coloring in while we were waiting. We'll be back!

Bad experience

Nice place and location but bad service. Took 3 attempts to get the correct bill as we ordered drinks during happy hour and the staff did not look happy that we were asking for the bill to be rectified. We ordered a burger without the bun and it came out just the burger itself with some melted cheese and the chips. They did not give us the salad that is usually put in the burger. I asked for the salad that it says on the menu it comes with and the waiter did not believe that we were right and said he'd ask the chef, after that he ignored us. When we asked for his help again and we pointed to the menu he then took the plate away and returned with the salad and the now cold burger.

This is one of those places where the anticipation was well and truly outweighed by the reality. The apparently legendary baby back ribs were quite average - only good thing was we only ordered a half size. The 250gm sirloin looked like fat was used to make up the weight and the Caesar salad with chicken literally had the chicken dumped on top of it as if it was a pre-made plain Caesar salad and the chef couldn’t be bothered turning it into a chicken Caesar salad. The broccoli and cheese croquettes seemed like they that were in name only. This was topped off by waitresses who didn’t seem to give a toss with very cursory service. Atmosphere wise, it felt like a very tired Cobb and Co. The only nice thing about dinner was the toblerone cocktail but it’s not enough to save the experience. Save your money and go elsewhere.

So Nice We Got It Twice

My Friends and I were in Queenstown for a Girls Weekend, and on our first night we enjoyed a yummy dinner at Brazz. We were welcomed and seated straight away, Our orders were taken and delivered in a well timely manner, and our food and drinks were absolutely delicious! We saw they had a $10 Breakfast so all four of us went back and enjoyed Breakfast there the very next day. I can confirm we received the exact same service which was very pleasing, and the $10 Breakfasts were not small at all. Highly Recommend Brazz if you are in or visiting Queenstown.

We went both mornings for the $10 breakfast special - eggs, bacon, hash brown and beans. Cooked fresh and perfectly both days. Make sure you have breakfast here and avoid the other restaurants that are charging two to three times the price. Hot tip - their poached eggs were perfect!

Would 100% recommend!

The staff were great but the food...OMG! So delicious! I had the 250g Rib eye with peppercorn sauce and fries, and my partner had a platter that contained both steak and ribs- all cooked to perfection. The food came out pretty quickly given it was a busy Saturday night and the rugby was on. We went back to our hotel with full, happy bellies!

Large portions, friendly staff

Had dinner here two nights in a row. Burgers are huge! As was the chicken parmigiana. Friendly staff, Siobhan on our second night was lovely and accommodating. Had sports on tv. Only not a 5 as there was a dead fly on the windowsill and the lampshades were dusty. Plus chips didn’t automatically come with sauce, heard a table behind us ask for some & Siobhan brought it to them no hassles; but it should either come with it automatically, or be asked at time of ordering.

A Must Visit in Queenstown

Order the Steak and Ribs Combo an despite being short staff it came out perfectly done and in good time. My steak was medium rare and the ribs just fell right off the bone.The pepper sauce was on point and the portion size was huge for the price and well worth it .thumbs up to ryan who served us he was very attentive and very good at what he does

Ahhhh, The Ribs

Had initially considered another restaurant, but it was very busy, very loud and full of some rather inebriated guests so crossed the street and found Brazz. So pleased we did, as this place is excellent. Roomy with inside and outside dining. Super staff. We selected the Ultimate Ribs, just one serving to share, and even then we brought a doggy bag home. The meat just fell off the bones. So tasty and moreish. The accompanying coleslaw was brilliant as it wasn't slathered in dressing. Good prices, and though it wasn't on the wine list, our wonderful waitress found a Prosecco for me to have a glass of. I highly recommend Brazz and thanks Anne B for your wonderful service.

I cannot rave enough about this place, if you are wanting a great meal for a great price you have to visit this place. Service was great and was nice to see smiley friendly faces every time we went there. The mulled wine was the best that we tasted throughout Queenstown, Cardrona and Wanaka - definitely recommend having a few glasses - great price too. The German waitress (sorry didn't get her name was so lovely and helpful), we will definitely be back again.

The ribs were to die for

I met a local friend here for a catchup and we ended up spending most of the afternoon/evening here. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. It's not the cheapest place you'll eat in Queenstown, but I'll lay money you won't find better ribs anywhere else.

Came in with a couple mates for dinner tonight and was not disappointed. Our host Ryan was great, very attentive and organised despite being short staffed. Food came out in an efficient manner and was well worth the price, high quality. Our steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare and the ribs were just melt in your mouth. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed dining experience that will leave you satisfied.

Their reservation system allowed us to make a reservation for Christmas Day... no indication they would not be open. So we fly into Queenstown 12/22 and have a great first few days and then on Christmas Day, get all dressed up for dinner and goto Brazz and? Not open. We had a hard time finding availability by tha time and ended up at an Indian Rest.

When making an online booking you are required to leave a contact email address which we can use to contact you if there are any changes to the booking. You were contacted on that very same email you provided on the 9th October 3 months prior to your arrival. You were informed that unfortunately we would be closed on Christmas day, however we offered assistance in menus and reservations in 2 of our sister restaurants here in Queenstown. Unfortunately it seems your have not read our email which is a shame as we had some great offerings for Christmas Day.
