The first thing I noticed about this place upon arrival was VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered takeaway and the moment I arrived, I was met by a young girl, who was very unfriendly and clearly did not like her job. I was given my...$82 worth of takeaway food in a cardboard box. Who does that? Not even a bag. They didn't have the decency to bag my food and dumped it in an ugly, hard-to-carry cardboard box. I had to walk all the way back to my hotel which wasn't that close with this silly cardboard box in hand, making sure nothing flew out or dropped out. I did not expect to pay $82 for one person. But I did, thinking that it would be brilliant Thai food after reading all the positive reviews. Boy was I wrong. The prices were way too expensive and the servings were tiny. I ordered the Satay Chicken Skewers. The only thing tasty and different was the peanut sauce. The amount of chicken they gave you was tiny and without the sauce, the chicken sticks was something you can make yourself. Nothing special. I ordered the Fish cakes. They were OK, but again small serving for the price and oily. I also ordered the fried Thai Beef Balls. Please do not order this. They were tiny, over-fried and disgusting. I ate 2 and chucked the rest out. I also ordered a fried rice with the fried chicken. This was probably the most decent and 'OK' dish but the chicken was very oily and there was more batter than chicken. The fried rice was the best dish out of all of them. I do not recommend this Thai place and wish I went to the other Thai place on the Mall which had much more lower prices and the food looked good when I walked past the shop and saw people eating inside. The worst part was the Customer Service and very unhappy girl taking my payment.More

I have lived in Queenstown for 4 years and this is top of my list everytime!! The food is fantastic, staff are great and the prices are reasonable I have been going regularly to @ Thai and have never been disappointed with the drinks and...food they offer.. I try something different every time! I love how they always have random things on sale such as plants and cutlery sets!! They don’t have the street frontage like other restaurants but it’s an absolute hidden gem!!More

Fabulous food quick & delicious. Everytime I stay in QT this is my favorite Thai restaurant. Up the stairs I suggest you book as busy . My prawn pad Thai the best ever. Service is quick

We only had a take away so can't vouch for the restaurant ambience, but the food was fantastic. We ordered a selection of curries, noodles and salad and it was all so good that I carried on eating even though I was extermely full!

You scan the qr code to get the menu, place your order, pay online and your order appears v quickly! Tasty food and there are vegan and veggie options.

I live in Vancouver which has several thousand Asian restaurants, many Thai restaurants, and a huge Asian population. I have always wondered why the overall quality of Asian food there is so humdrum. In little Queenstown, another fantastic Thai meal in NZ. We had sui...Mai dumpings (more Chinese dim sum food really), and chicken satays to start. Juicy beautiful chicken in a tasty peanut sauce that outdid anything in Vancouver. North American Asian restaurants seem to always cook meat within an inch of its life and then “compensate” by slathering it in sauce. Here the chicken was juicy and tender, perfectly cooked. Then we tried Panang curry, oh so good with a gorgeous aromatic curry sauce instead of generic North American examples. The Pad Thai, another perennial favourite to order, oh so good here, with juicy, tender, fresh shrimps. They know how do cook here! My highest recommendation.More

Wonderful meal on a hot summer night. I had the green curry blue cod and my wife had a red curry prawns--both were superb. We also had the calamari as a starter--also excellent. Quality food at a very good price. The service was a little...bit less than optimal, as they are short staffed.More

We dined at this Thai Restaurant when visiting Queenstown. Nice venue and our table overlooked the street below. I ordered a shared Seafood Tom Yum , Coconut Prawns and a Tiger Beer. I waiting some time and my drink hadn’t arrived so I followed it...up. She had forgotten?? Our Tom Yum arrived and it was large and very good. The Coconut Prawns we ordered had not arrived and this was also followed up. She said this wasn’t ordered? My wife and I heard the order made. So the order taking left a lot to be desired. We finished off with fried banana and ice cream which was a huge serve.More

Putting aside the convoluted ordering system, they want you to order online at your table even though they seemed to have plenty of staff (but 10% discount). This was decent Thai food that came out quickly enough. Have we had better, probably but no complaints.

This place was very busy, but they were able to fit us in and serve us quickly. Delicious food, nice atmosphere.

After a day of hiking my husband and I were craving Thai. We had already tried another Thai place but saw the reviews and they delivered so we ordered. Although a little high priced, the food was truly outstanding. We ordered Pineapple prawn fried rice...and fried pork gyoza. The rice was different and amazing. Smaller rice full of herbs and saffron heavy. The prawns super fresh. The gyoza also good but would probably go with steamed next time. Would highly recommend.More

No way it's the best I ever had. The food, service and general friendliness of the staff is second to none. We always go once when in Queenstown, now I'm thinking it might be the only place we go. So very very good.
