The concept is very unique, atmosphere and music is great, service is awesome. Food is probably the best I’ve ever had in my life. We got the shrimp, raw fish, beef cheeks and duck nachoes. 100% will be back!!!

Our family love dining here whenever we are in Queenstown. Really creative cooking, great flavor and atmosphere, we always enjoyed nice dining experiences here, worth the price!
The experience started the moment we walked in the door, exceptional service, fabulous cocktails and just stunning food! I have eaten at many high end restaurants but the food was fresh, inspirational and so tasty. If you haven’t been you must, it’s a must do...in QueenstownMore

We visited the restaurant with friends. Everything was fantastic, beautifully balanced, fresh, flavorful and perfectly cooked. The salmon tartare was awesome, the char sui ribs, and pork belly... Wow. The service was attentive, and the wine and cocktails awesome. Try the perfect Manhattan... Highly recommend
Amazed! The Polynesian fusion vibes were on point. Greeted with native language and complimented with native food, this place really deserves my thanks and appreciation. It perfectly blended the traditional dishes with a modern taste, you could even say it was improved. Highly recommend the...Thai curry, hands down one of the best Thai green curries I have tasted and that’s from someone who’s lived in Thailand. The yellow fin tuna is just straight up delicious. You must try it all.
Prices are a bit on the luxurious side but well worth it. You need to experience this AT LEAST three times in your life time. The service here is accommodating, friendly and well trained. We will be back to try everything else on the menu.More
This restaurant seriously deserves its reputation. The decor, the atmosphere, the service plus the food and drink were spot on. We had the Feed Me, the chef got everything right and we left absolutely brimming with food. Delicious
Doesn't quite deserve 5 stars but doesn't deserve to be rounded down to four either. Really very little to fault and that mostly personal preference rather than an actual issue. Service was good, cocktails good, food excellent (shout out to the fried chicken and the...jungle curry). Deserves its reputation as one of the best places to eat in Queenstown.More

We visited Blue Kanu the other night, the food was amazing! We ordered the kokodu sharing plate, the duck nacho’s and the Thai prawn curry with rice. Everything was delicious and tasty (words don’t do it Justice even!!). One small reccomendation - don’t bother getting...the rice - it’s expensive and listed as coconut rice when in fact it’s just plain white rice with a few dried coconut shavings on top - not like the real coconut rice we have had which tastes of coconut.
The only things we thought let our experience down was that the entire place was filled with a heavy smoke from the kitchen. There were no windows open (it was raining outside), no fans or any way of circulating the air. It was hard to breathe and sore on the throat at times.
This was not pleasant at all.More
