Great location and ambience. Gas fire in the corner, nice easy listening music. Attentive friendly staff. The breakfast menu isn't massive but they have it covered.

we had an evening meal here and sat outside in the lane. The waiter was very good and explained the shared menu well. As two couples, we accepted a few of the waiters suggestions and were not disappointed. This is a medium cost eating venue, wines were a tad more expensive that other places we dined.

Great service and brilliant food. Awesome cocktail menu too, had to make some very difficult decisions! The tasting platter was enjoyed by my friends, trying things they maybe wouldn't have chosen from the menu, The unexpected favourite was the beetroot falafel, so delicious. The kitchen was able to cater for me as I don't enjoy cheese too much, taking it... More

This was a great night out with 2 families. We had the set menu which was delicious but maybe a bit small for the males in the group. The cocktails were superb and the whisky tasting plate went down well at the end of the evening. A slightly pricey meal but well worth it. Great location and nice décor. Staff... More

We had our anniversary dinner here - not sure what to expect, and opted for a tasting plate. Was a quiet monday nite, so no booking was necessary. The meals were fine, a taste of smoked salmon (something I would not normally have - and it was delicious) The grilled bruschetta was outstanding. Sourdough bread with a base of babaganoush... More

The food here was okay.. there was far too much salt in all the dishes. The best dish was the fries but even that was too salty. We did go there at night during happy hour and got a cocktail which was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful. We got first table voucher so we paid half price for... More

We arrived and the couple at the table next to us complained that their meal was slow. We should have taken it as a sign. When we did get our fishcakes and salad 45 mins after ordering, it was tasty and fine. nothing brilliant, but it filled the spot. Servers were nice, trying hard in difficult circumstances.

So firstly we actually got this booking via first table .com so it was 50% off. The food was yum. Ordered the pastrami sandwich and the pickle and cheese sandwich. Just wanted something simple. And they were both delicious! The girls service was pretty relaxed and lazy. Water took 15 mins and we were the only people in there. Wouldn't... More

Dropped in for a quick drink. The gin cocktail of the week was so good we stayed for a second and tapas. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was amazing - we had a pizza and lamb ribs. Sitting by the fire on a cool night - perfect!
