I went here based on a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. It is a cozy bar, but it does have a number of tables outside. While the menu is not large I did like the options available (including tapas). I choose the steak and chips, which was good and great value at $20.

Family actually first had lunch there and had some fish and chips and burgers heheh Came back again for dinner cause was so good. We ordered few things off tapas and everything was delicious, mains was not too bad at all 👌🏽

Helpful staff who offered a taste and advice. The best beer I've had so far in NZ by a country mile and a great selection on offer.

Steak & chips best value for money around - still! Tasty ever changing local beers on tap in proper pints. Beautiful lakeside views, quirky decor & bathrooms. Definitely my all time favourite.

I am not a big steak person but this place may have converted me! It was perfectly cooked and juicy. Just yum!

Atlas has an amazing steak deal for $20. The food was incredible and definitely worth way more than $20. Also the London porter is delicious!

Small little bar tucked down on the end of the wharf. Full of character and great local brews. Knowlexgeable bar staff can tell you all about the various craft drafts

Had an all day breakfast with a side of smoked salmon. Shared between two was ample and very tasty. Eventually found the entrance to the toilet. Quirky to say the least!

Came here to recover from a hangover. Amazing food. We had the kumara hash with salmon and hollandaise. It was delicious. Coffee was top notch as well. Will come back for more!

Although the Atlas Cafe is licensed to serve alcohol it proved to be an excellent choice for breakfast with tables right on the waters edge and a comprehensive menu. We had the full English breakfast which was more than enough to feed both of us for only $18 plus two excellent coffees at the regular price.
