Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a wonderful time eating $5 pizzas with wine and enjoying some very cool music from a DJ on that evening. It was a cold evening so very nice to have a large fireplace to warm up by with a pool table available to play...on as well.More

We had a great $5.00 pizza each and a good beer for lunch. Relaxing and comfortable atmosphere in a tucked away alley in the centre of Queenstown.

Loved the $5 pizza for a quick bite to eat. They also have a bunch of $10 lunch deals that are worth it.

A frequent spot for hanging out with friends having beers and playing pool. The food is not the best, but the vibe of the place is great. Pizza is not amazing, but its $5 during happy hour which is a good deal.

Went there with the family for an early dinner. Its got a real rustic, family friendly environment with the bar and restaurant eating area separated. The kids ordered off the $10 menu with 1 getting a beef burger (pictured) and fries and the other fish...n chips. My wife and I shared the mixed grill (steak, fried chicken and pork ribs with slaw and fries) for $65(pictured). Worth the money - delicious, tender meat and a full stomach! I would go back!More

I was at queenstown for a quick weekend holiday and wanted to grab a lunch real quick and I was positively surprised by the service and quality of the food. I had a chicken sandwich, which was perfectly made and a French girl, named Marion...was very smiling and friendly, lovely girl. I can definetly recommend this restaurant!More

We wandered down Searle Lane last night and noticed lots of bars. Came back tonight for a quick drink before dinner. Being early Sunday night it was very quiet but the bar has a great vibe and we really enjoyed the soft rock music. Friendly...staff and reasonably priced drinks.More

We’ve been to this place more than a few times over years. Mostly lunch because even if it’s a bit early time, it’s open, cheap and the food used to be descent. Customer service and the cleanliness were often disappointing. But the food used to...be still good, sometimes wasn’t that good. Glasses are most of the time dirty. This time, the waiter brought a bottle of water, put on the sticky table. When I tried to pour, I noticed the water bottle was covered with chalk dust! And of course glasses were dirty. How lazy and rude! The bottle was cold, so how could it happen? I always felt when we don’t order any drink, they don’t like it and bring water and glasses that we can’t drink/use. That’s how bad it is most of the time over years here. We went back even so because food was ok, but not this time, so we’ll never go back again. Also, at lunch time, don’t go here if you are a little hurry and trying to decide just because it looks quiet (not busy) and cheap. Chefs take forever to prepare food, always looked like they started cooking after a good while, waiters won’t come to take your order until you start wondering what’s going on even there’s almost no one else. We walked up to the bar to give our order a couple of times even because we couldn’t wait forever. If this happens, you should walk away. Really can’t imagine how busy the waiter can be when almost nothing going on in the restaurant. You probably have to prepare to give one hour plus in such a quiet time for just a little food. Best decision to go somewhere else, fast foods are more predictable. Don’t waste your time and you don’t have to leave with such a indescribable feelings.More

Every time i have come to seale lane except for one night since recently moving here last month i have always been denied entry by your bouncer James if i remember correctly. He has always treated me so rudely saying i have been too intoxicated...when i have been sober with my girlfriends. I would highly recommend hiring a different bouncer who is not so rude if you want customers. ThanksMore
