It's a lovely location. Chose to eat inside, despite being warm enough to be outside, as we like the echoey hubbub noise of the bar and kitchen. Service was fantastic. Coffee was excellent - thanks Thiago! Food 50/50: The buttermilk pancakes with blueberries were great...More

The scenery is to die for. How beautiful and peaceful to spend some time chilling out over lunch. We were told it can be very popular over the summer. This restaurant is owned by the same entrepreneur who owns the restaurant at Amisfield Winery. The...More

This should be an unmissable piece of the Queenstown experience. Thankfully (especially mid-week) it’s not, so you can enjoy extraordinary views of the Remarkables and beautifully presented food in your own slice of serenity. Service is attentive but not overwhelming, food is delicious, and while...More

Dinner here was a pleasant affair with Bluff oysters (oh yeah) on the menu. Casual but high standard dining was an evening my wife and I enjoyed on our first night in Queenstown. Service was very friendly and homely, and the food was very good....More

We were not disappointed and the generous restaurant setting with central large fireplace added to our comfort and enjoyment. We...More

Hi. I have only been during daylight hours and the view is fabulous. I imagine though at night ( if it is even open) that it would be darkness. Definitely worth a lunch on a nice day. Great course too if you are a golfer!

Description
Backdropped by the Remarkables Mountain Range, Jack's Point is a truly authentic and unique destination from which to experience Queenstown's stunning scenery. Jack's Point Clubhouse & Restaurant draws its inspiration from the traditional Kiwi woolshed, making a distinctive statement in its outstanding location while blending with the surrounding rural landscape. The rustic complex incorporates a range of raw materials to reinforce the woolshed theme combining concrete floors and walls with macrocarpa timber beams and cedar shingles. Floor to ceiling windows provide stunning views from every aspect taking in the Remarkables Mountain range, Coronet Peak and other key landmarks. The Clubhouse & Restaurant is surrounded by Jack's Point championship golf course, which is billed as one of the world's most spectacular golf courses and is situated on the edge of Lake Tewa. Open for private dinners and events by appointment only.
