The service we got from pub on wharf was so great we were back there almost every night of our trip. The staff here, especially Druzie, did a brilliant job and always delivered service with a smile.

Best customer service we had in Queenstown. Went there for 4 out of 6 nights we were there. Special thanks to the waitress named Druzie. She was very helpful and gave us all round good service. Excited to go back in the future.
Pub on Wharf Queenstown Dinner 784138077 On 24/2/21 my wife and I and a friend visited pub on wharf for dinner. I scanned in at 7.20pm. The bar person on at the time has bad situational awareness, he couldn't distinguish who was at the bar...first for service out of 2 people, myself and some other person who just pushed in ahead of me after arriving after me and was served immediately before me. I brushed that off and ordered 3 meals and 3 drinks. I ordered a beef wellington for myself, a chicken parmigiana for our friend, and a lasagne for my wife. My wife doesn’t eat meat. When the food came the wait person brought us 2 beef wellingtons (for me and mistakenly for my wife) and the chicken parmigiana for our friend. We stated that I didn’t order 2 beef wellingtons, whereupon this waitress started arguing with us very aggressively, we retaliated similarly. She even went so far as to go away then come back and say I was on the “security camera” as saying I ordered 2 beef wellingtons. I didn’t want 2 beef wellingtons because my wife doesn't eat meat, I had no reason to order 2 beef wellingtons. The upshot was I was so angry I left without eating my meal, the following confusion and distress caused by this waitress meant we paid for the meals and somehow my wife didn’t get a meal. For $20.00 you can choose from a good selection of food. We chose the salmon which was generous sized and delicious which was served with mashed potato and green beans. The staff were very friendly finding us a quiet spot because my husband has a...hearing disability. Thanks for that. The service was very efficient.More
Best customer service we have received while living in Queenstown! We were serviced by a super lovely woman named Druzie. She not only consistently did her job amazingly she went out of her way to help one of us in need. Such a lovely lady...we appreciate her so much, thank you!! You made our day 😊More
This place is in such a great location with outdoor seating overlooking the lake with very fair priced food. Most dishes are $20 which is fantastic for the quality and quantity you get! Really tasty, we’d recommend the ribs and beef Wellington, although the steak...on a nearby table looked very appetising too. Live music gave a really good vibe to the place, and the staff were friendly. If I were around this area again I’d pay them another visit.More
After spending 5 days in Quenstown over New Year, this pub is my pick of the bunch. Food is very reasonably priced, good portion sizes and tasty! I had the slow cooked rump on a potato mash, rump has never tasted so good! Drinks prices...also very reasonable compared to establishment next door! As the start to 2021 was rather chilly the fire was going so a nice place to hunker down out of the rain. Place also has great outdoor seating for when the sunny weather returns.More
Excellent value for money. There was a 45 min wait but the food was amazing and good sized servings. The service was excellent as well
Walked past and noticed they had the NZ cricket game on TV. Only bar we have found between Wellington and Queenstown with it. Went in, good service, got menus and found main meals were only $20. Ordered beef wellington and pork belly -both were superb..., large meals, well presented and cooked, excellent value for money. Especially when you look at prices at other places in same area. Really pleased with overall experience. Highly recommended and happy to see cricket !More
Great position on the wharf, pretty good selection of beers (nice to see an NZ pub not just selling lager, lager, lager called beer but actually lager!). It's a comfy pub, does pub grub and does it well. You can eat very well for $20...and if you don't regularly do pubs and want out of the noise, outside has heaters and plenty of seating. It doesn't have any pretensions of being anything other than a pub that sells food you want to eat in a pub. I got everything I expected, and if I wanted to just have a few beers in a pub, I've been to far worse places. Sometimes you don't want or need fancy dining and pizzazz and Pub on Wharf is exactly what it says and you don't feel out of place if you're not an 18yr old backpacker.More
