The restaurant is dark inside and the music from the speakers was loud, annoying and horrible. We waited ages for our food and it really wasn't very good. The meat was tough - good meat is not hard to get in New Zealand!

We are local and have been to Flame many times as it was always reliable. Unfortunately it now suffers from a lack of service with mediocre yet expensive food and drinks in a stifling restaurant. I just wouldn’t go anymore.

Great food good portions friendly staff there was plenty to choose from on the menu, we ate here two nights of our stay the steaks were fantastic, cooked to perfection.
