Brunch for two on our last day of a magical 2 week trip. The outside setting was beautiful..stylish without being pretentious, lovely touches and a beautiful morning showed the area at its best....fresh fragrant roses adorned the tables. Fab service, strong well made allpress coffee...and the food....big brekkie and halloumi with poached eggs and other gorgeous morsels like labne and dukkah. Both v generous, beautifully presented, well cooked and imaginative. Possibly one of the best brunches I’ve ever had. Only small comment the music was dreadful...heavy metal to elevator😄. Best to have birdsong.More

Had been there twice in last 2 weeks: Second Visit was: Breakfast. In and out without any service delivery expectation because of first spoiled visit. First Visit was January 2021: Visit with Family slightly close to 03.30PM (our bad as we stopped by at Bowling...alley in Arthurs point) and missed their full service lunch Menu. We were advised on arrival that they can only serve Starters from Menu as they close Lunch service at 03.30 PM. We agreed to take the offer as we decided to have few drinks and light meal. I went to check with the FOH lady that if we can possibly have side Dishes too as we had Kids in the party & they preferred to have baked potato / fries / something similar. FOH lady nicely asked the Kitchen and was abruptly slapped with NO by Kitchen lady chef. I was appalled & felt bad for the FOH lady and felt sorry for her that she is at the mercy of rude Kitchen staff to deliver above & beyond service even if she wanted so. I would happily recommend this place for what they offer, but will be skeptical for having above & beyond delivery expectation. From my experience of this abruptness of Kitchen it feels from the other recent 1 Star review where group of 10 Pax were refused dining because Kitchen can't serve them - it would definitely be Kitchen delivery issue and they would have refused to liase with FOH to meet the Customer expectation. My Question in that scenario will be what if you had 4 tables of 5 each? Regardless, coming to my experience, I will sincerely request owners to check on how their floor operations are run in their absence. Your official time to close is 05.00 PM, I am assuming Kitchen get paid least until 05.30 PM to wind up the operation, it would be nice for them to be considerate in delivering what you are trying to achieve as Team. Amazing owners + Amazing FOH + Amazing Kitchen makes the places amazing - Kitchen as important they are but needs to be part of this 3-Pillar structure. Do not want to spoil you amazing rating because of one inconsiderate staff. Hence 5 Stars :)More

Lovely setting within beautiful gardens. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We ordered the fish dish for our lunch which was tasty and refreshing with the fennel salad. I would definitely go back!

We had booked to have lunch at Akarua Wines & Kitchen by Artisan as a stop off our hop on hop off wine tour. The garden setting is beautiful. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The food was delicious. The lamb is really worth...a mention, scrumptious, falling off the bone and full of flavour. The sides were so tasty, delicate and carefully put together, a real treat. Highly recommend this restaurant but be sure to book in advance so as to not be disappointed, it is packed.More
