Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Staff and service was fantastic. Four of us had dinner and weren't disappointed. The seafood chowder was up there as being one of the best we have had - large chunks of bluecod , whole prawns and calamari. Would also recommend the lamb rack

Warm and welcoming. Six of us were treating to a delicious eating experience. Friendly staff and attentive service. I had Lamb shanks which were cooked to perfection with a delicious gravy and perfectly cooked seasonal veges. My husband had the Lamb racks which he said...were cooked medium rare and were very tender. Will definitely go back. A good assortment of wines and beers complimented our meal.More

Below par food-pies were microwaved with soggy soft pastry. My parents coffee was cold. Ordered an iced chocolate also and am yet to see it despite asking where it was twice, so ended up getting a refund. Won’t be returning.

Stopped in for a coffee, which was great and ended up buying cake as well. They had a fantastic selection of cakes and biscuits including GF DF vegan and raw. The staff were friendly and everything was tidy. Lovely spot to stop.

A magnificent buffet meal for a group of about 25 - 30 guests. Very well prepared food and great service.

The waitress was lovely and the atmosphere was also very nice. My meal was disappointing. The "Crunchy Chicken" was a flat piece of chicken meat coated in a coating that seemed to be nothing but breadcrumb and was soft, not crunchy at all. The flavour...was unusual. The potatoes that accompanied this didn't taste flavoursome at all..and were overcooked. I didn't bother with the huge amount of coleslaw. The cost of the meal was far too high. I won't be going back.More

Needed a coffee and the coffee here was very good. L'affare is the brand. Service was quick, staff very accommodating.

Went to find group at 2.30pm they had left and asked staff member if they had seen them. Promptly told ‘we are closed’ rather aggressive approach. Very off putting and worth mentioning she had an inability to use the words hello and goodbye. Nice surroundings...and apparently good food. Sadly I won’t get this opportunity as I won’t go back. Recommend to stay away from this rogue business.More

I know of this lady and she has serious mental issues. The “stone chips “were her own filling breaking - as they do.. As if anyone would put stones in food.. Consistently best coffee in town!! Lamb shank pies are best pies I have ever...had . Lovely staff, highly recommend!!More

Beautiful old dwelling, well preserved. Lamb shank special of the day was really good. Parmesan crust chicken was tough but the raw salad that came with it was very tasty with well balanced flavours. $6 glass of house wine was a great surprise and a...great wine at that!More

Group of 6 celebrating mother’s day. Two all day breakfasts were miserable and totally uninspiring. I had mushroom and quinoa with side order bacon. It was tragic, pitiful amount of food and tasteless. Only positive was nice coffee. We were so disappointed as this was meant...to be a real treat but we all left hungry and uninspired. No one asked us if we were happy or enjoyed our meals!More

Waitresses don't listen nor smile and got our order wrong. Clearly the owner is trying to do some small steps towards modern healthy eating but not there by a mile. Massive slop of cheap sour cream plonked in the middle of my tomato soup. Nice...veggie salad covered in cheap sweet chilli sauce. Yuck.More
