The atmosphere was really and also the red wine. However, we both took funghi fume fried gnocchi, and were really disappointed because of the quantity. It was like an entre, not a main dish, especially for this price.

We had dinner at the Gaslight 22nd November. The service was outstanding and the meals were unbelievable. Breads and spreads as a shared entree was plenty big enough for 2 and the dips were great. Mains were good size and exceptional Fried Gnocchi with roasted...More

We visited on a cold Sunday night, and were pleasantly surprised to find it had life, but was not overly busy. As we're not huge eaters our plan had been to have pate and another starter, then to skip the main and end up with...More

After reading the first reviews and looking at the website, we got really excited and interested. (They claimed to have mixologists) I have ordered an espresso martini and got everything else but not an espresso martini, baileys inside and no coffee flavor. We started with...More

We arrived early without a reservation and got a warm welcome from the amiable host, who took us to a cozy table for two along an exposed brick wall. We'd been attracted to the old building in the first place and thought the interesting, quirky...More

Visited for dinner with a group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Great decor friendly staff and reasonably priced food and drinks. The cheese souffle was delicious and the the steaks excellent.

Came here because of the good reviews. Unfortunately it took us on average 20-30 minutes to get each course. Aracini was tasty, duck confit was good. Don’t think I have the patience to come back again though.

We chose Gaslight on a whim. Having watched the original film and the later version with a very young Angela Lansbury. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was cinema-themed and decorated with old movie equipment. Dark enough to be romantic. An intimate space. The staff...More

Hello there, we will unfortunately be closed for the holidays. We reopen for 2017 at 5pm on Thurs 5th Jan. I would recommend making a booking this time of year as a few places are taking a well earned break. Cheers Patrick.
