I have been at other Lonestars and each time I go for a meal, I want to say something positive but unfortunately Dunedin couldn't impress me! As always, the staff and? in my mouth' a lot of chewing was required! A fairly average meal. I...would love Lone star to impress me with quality and I give them that challenge.More
Tough ribs and salty prawns! We have previously loved coming here but won't be back. Fed back to staff re meals and no real response except 'sorry'. Found it expensive compared to other options of better quality. Ribs were served on their own and you...pay extra for chips and salad? Rob Roy Diary saved the evening with delicious ice creams.More
The beer was great but the was not.
Blue Cod (Blue Pacific) was my choice.
The salad was OK the fish was over cooked and the batter was very greasy.
Probably the worst meal I have ever had. Shall not be back.
Lone star is the best I have always enjoyed it here, I had my old usual the Johnny cash stash this time instead of trying new things like in the past and it was just as amazing as I already knew, and the kiwi pavolova...was great also. Lone star is brillantMore
We took my son and a few of his mates to Lonestar for his 21st, first off the service was great and the waitress was really good, the meals are huge so perfect for the lads as the doggy bags will keep them going until...Christmas...if you just want a fun place to go as a family you can't go wrong. We were hoping to have a bigger event there in one of the function rooms, but COVID stopped that. a real shame as the location is perfect as well.More
