The food is nice however, we found a part of a gross purple tissue in one meal and multiple hairs in the other which is extremely off putting. When we let the staff know they didn’t try to make it up to us at all....The “full” pancake stack is not very big compared to the half size and other places. Would not go back.More
If you want bog standard poached eggs on white toast, come to this boring cafe. Weak bland coffee. Walk a few steps down George St to Market Kitchen and get a tasty interesting breakfast
Very dirty right down to even the "clean" cutlery being dirty. Terrible service as staff seemed to clearly dislike their jobs. Coffee so badly made I'm not sure how they think they're baristas. Food was alright but well overpriced and nothing special. Uncomfortable seats and...very lacklustre standards overall. I wouldn't waste your money, was definitely not a good way to start the day.More
Its a nice place to sit down and have a meal ... the pancakes are alright as is their eggs Benedict.
We went in a morning and there were only two customers. The staff took the order for the customer before me, and as it was my turn I sad "hi" and he told me pointblankly "hang on, il get back to you in a minute"....No good morning/ any greeting from him. The 1 minute took 3 minutes as I was standing in front of the cashier. He made the previous customer's coffee, went back, and get him something else. Until finally after 3 minutes of standing in front of him he finally took my order. The full chocolate pancake was gross, center was undercooked, batter too thick. Definitely not a good morning from this placeMore
GF French toast that was absolutely delicious! There was a selection of flavours but I had the banoffee. Will definitely recommend to others and go again myself.
Visited here after numerous recommendations from friends and was excited to see what was to offer. Ordered the French toast and I was disappointed. It was dry with minimal batter, closely resembling a normal piece of toast covered in yoghurt. Sampled a friend’s pancakes and...although they were “nice” I was definitely not blown away. Service was friendly however, and very prompt. Good atmosphere that catered to a group.More
This place is outstanding, we brunched here on a friday, the place was packed....Great service, great coffee, and the food is tops....we came in a second time late on a sunday for just chips and coffee, same awesome service, in fact over and above. Alround...nice people, and the food and beverage outstanding ...will recommend without hesitation.More
After reading the reviews I was looking forward to a beautiful brunch and unfortunately was terribly disappointed. The eggs were like rubber, the bacon burnt, the bread hardly toasted and the tomatoes were undercooked too. It seemed the eggs had been cooked in a microwave....I have to say looking around the restaurant the French toast and pancakes looked amazing so maybe we should have ordered that but really all meals should be of the same standard.More
