Excellent bagels here. We got here about 5 minutes before opening time and were asked if we wanted to wait outside for a while. Okay, fair enough. A local who wanted to walk in a minute before opening time was also sent out. Shortly afterwards, just before we wanted to walk in, another couple walked in. The lady behind the counter did not tell them that we had already been waiting outside to be helped (not on the bus, duh). Not a major issue, but sometimes service is in the little things.

After living in NY for 15 years, I was pretty clear on what constituted a good bagel. Before comjng to NZ my kiwi wife warned me that NZ bagels were a lump of bread with a hole in it.
This was the case until we found Beam me up bagels.
Chewy, light, delicious and way too addictive. Fortunately my kids have the metabolism I used to have and devour 4 a day when we're in town. I allow my self 1 a day and it is the highlight of the day even beating my favourite gin n tonic.

A huge range of different flavoured, delicious bagels with an array of different filling options. We’ve started going most weekends now and are working our way through their extensive bagel menu. Highly recommend Yoda, Scully and Red Dwarf!

Worst bagels & food we have ever had and the coffee tasted like dirty water. Why spend any money here? It’s a complete waste. Went with a group of friends and all had the same reaction. Staff not friendly. Place was dirty. Much better places to eat. If we could give it no stars we would. Avoid at all costs!!

Beam me up bagels are honestly the best bagels I have ever had in my life. I am a great bagel fan and these beat bagels I've had from any other corner of the earth. Juicy fillings, soft bagels and definitely not dry! Great for breakfast or lunch, we had to keep going back to order more. A must do for any trip to Dunedi ! This is the captain Kirk, with no chilli flakes and sundried tomato pesto instead! Although the Halloumi heads was to DIE for and definitely my favourite!

Consistently FANTASTIC bagels - BEST IN NZ by far. Nice staff. Only bummer is not all bagels available at open. Hit or miss if everything bagels will be ready when I go or not. That should not be the case.

Not only a cool gimmick with sci fi themed bagesl, but really delicious. Lived in USA for 13 years and these are really, just like NY bagels. Bought 3 packs of day olds so that I can enjoy at home. Loved the Vulcan and the pigs in space.

The staff was very kind. We were 2nd in line but didn't have to wait long. Just long enough to take a look at the menu. The service was excellent. We ordered two cappuccino , a darth bagel and the pineapple paradox.

Bagels at Beam Me Up Bagels are delicious. My husband and I ordered Darth Bacon and MIB Chicken bagels. They were both very delicious. The service was great, and we loved all the bagel names.

Have been eating these fantastic bagels since they started with a stall at the Farmer's Market. Always delicious, and fresh. A great start to the day, with loads of choices of both bagels and fillings. Yum!

Came twice during our few days in the city. A great place for lunch, I loved the Vulcan. We sat in to eat but could easily have had as a take away. Would highly recommend.

We were served by a girl in a really cool cowboy shirt, she was so lovely and the coffee is SO amazing. Best coffee in ages, the barista was really nice too
