A great place for breakfast. We all loved the food and coffee. Thoroughly recommend laneways for breakfast.

A must visit place when in Dunedin. A very smart cafe, well laid out and with a great breakfast menu. I was very pleased to have found it. Slick service. Excellent coffee. Highly recommend the bacon with croquettes and spinach. Delicious combination.
This restaurant was wonderful. The food was excellent, innovative and yummy. The service of the new, young wait person was attentive and just right. But OMG the tapas were incredible.
I have had a few things here but always come back to the eggs on fire which are amazing. Lively setting and amazing food. Also the size of their slices make it a nice treat rather than an oversized sweet.
Food and coffee are great. Often come here for brunch. Nanas tomato relish deserves to be eaten with a spoon. Don’t forget a side of patatas bravas!
Pleasant atmosphere, extensive menu which includes a Tapas menu. Reasonably priced and a good selection to chose from on the Tapas menu. If you like to try different foods then this is a good place to start.

We stopped in for a snack before heading to the theater - the staff were knowledgeable of both the wine and food menus and ensured that we weren't delayed for our night out. The tapas were delicious and I will definitely go back.
