Well, if we weren't on the lookout for a coffee and our NavMan hadn't played up, we may not have stumbled across this quirky cafe. The staff were very friendly, the coffee and cake very nice and the ambience very rustic. A nice place to...chill out for a while.More

We stopped on the way back from the Gondola and were happy we did. Very friendly staff and great coffee. The food we ordered was delicious as well. Definitely worth going.

This place is definitely worth a stop off. It is rustic, funky and booms personality. This is cabinet food, which looked really yummy. Kids would love a come with the miniature ponies. With being a business that brews there own coffee you would expect it...to be great, and it was. Thumbs up guys 👍More

This coffee shop is for people who are relaxed and chilled about enjoying an excellent cup of coffee. The staff are friendly and helpful, they deal with a lot of repeat business with the coffee being so good. The pony club out the back adds...interest for children who visit the coffee shop. The food, though rustic, is delicious and has the home made feel to it. Patrons often join in communal conversations, you can join in or just listen as you wish, but it makes me feel as if I am welcome and belong hereMore

Essentially coming here is pretty much just having a coffee at the pony club. It has a very basic, a bit worn, fairly tired and rustic arrangement. They offer simple op shop type seating inside and out. The service provided was very indifferent and far...from friendly or welcoming. The lady greeted me with "What can I get you?" Was only a couple of very average and unappealing savoury items on display to offer at noon. Had to wait for 13mins for a coffee to have there, which was served in a paper cup. Sugar bowl contents was a mixture of raw and white sugar. The coffee itself was very average and wasnt made with a lot of love. Wont be back in a hurry as the place didnt do much for me.More

This cafe roasts its own beans and serves "serious" coffee - one of the best coffees in the city. The food is also very good, although the range is small and limited. We certainly enjoyed our berry muffins. The staff are helpful and friendly and...the service is good. But don't expect modern or tidy surroundings they are a little rough and rustic, but that is all part of the good vibes and adds to the atmosphere.More

One of the great pleasures of living in Heathcote Valley, it would be one of the best reasons also for visiting the Valley. It's rustic and quirky, the staff are friendly and informal yet professional, and the coffee is worth living for.

Love coming here. Great homemade food and excellent coffee. Staff are very friendly. Tucked away beside the Riding School it offers inside or outside dining.

One of my favourite cafes, roasting their own coffee which is some of the best in Christchurch. Although not extensive their food is fresh and tasty. Service is always friendly and helpful. The setting is a bit rustic and the semi rural location adds to...the special atmosphere. Well worth s visit if just for a new cafe experience.More

Dropped by here with the family on a hot day for iced coffees. Coffee was really good and food tasty. Not your classic coffee shop but the shabby chic is rather nice! Good roastery on site with nice fresh beans available.
