First impressions count a lot and our Village Walking Group's first impression couldn't be faulted. We had a warm reception from the staff and management, our tables were well-spaced, the service was spot-on and the coffee just right. I was impressed that I had two...calls prior to our visit to determine just what we would need in the way of food, so there would be sufficient staff - the first time we have ever had that happen in almost four years! Facilities and ambience were most appropriate. The only negative aspect was the difficulty in parking, but the café couldn't be held to blame for that! An excellent place to return to. Favourite Local

Best cinnamon scrolls in town

Efficient and friendly staff. Breakfast is excellent and best cinnamon scrolls in town. I love this coffee shop and it becomes one of my new favourite

Best Cafe in Ilam!

I would recommend LB&CO to anyone! I visit often, and every time am met with friendly service. Both the cabinet and menu food is always delicious! And the coffee (especially iced) is some of the best I've tried. Definitely check this place out next time...you need a new cafe to visit!More

Favourite Café!

I come by pretty much every day on the way to uni. They have the BEST Mochaccino’s, amazing coffee, as well as great service. Love the atmosphere, it makes early mornings so much more bearable, and every staff member I’ve met has been so lovely....Highly recommend!More

'LB's' to the loyal locals!

Great tucker, service and coffee. Highlights include the caramel, walnut slice (V), cheese toasties, creamy mushrooms & bacon & latte (in a glass of course!). Service is outstanding; David the AAGW (Awesome, Attentive German Waiter!), Flo, Marie, Nathan, Fran, Max & of course the owner...David, who looks after customers' needs in a charming and attentive way which is a real drawcard.More

A++ Coffee & Food

I passed through with a few friends for a quick meal and coffee. We were very pleased at the selection of food available. The pork bun and white chocolate raspberry muffins are a must try. Absolutely delicious!! Friendly staff that make the atmosphere very enjoyable....Will definitely be coming back.More

Your genuinely friendly local

This is the place anyone can come and feel like a local. Very polite and welcoming staff with the fastest and nicest coffee I can find! Definitly worth visiting! You can even bring your dog, with fresh waterbowls. After ownership changed this became my favourite...Cafe, the new owners are great and always have good staff!More

Great!

Awesome staff and awesome place. Pulled pork buns were the best ever and a must-try. Definitely one of the best coffee shops I've ever been to in Christchurch. It's coffee plus more. As a student, the prices are reasonable and I'll definitely recommend this place...to my friends.More

Beautiful Place, The Best Coffee, Great Menu

This place is large, light and has a beautiful courtyard area. The atmosphere and staff are lovely and they serve the best coffee in New Zealand Allpress. The cabinet and menu have lots of options. A lovely place to visit.
