So so yummy and fast service. Only thing is they should have all ingredients of dumplings on the menu :)

LOVE this place. Always spend way too much money ordering so much food because it is ALL so delicious. Gutted to miss my fix last trip to CHC as they are closed Mon/Tue so wasn't able to go. Everything on the menu is a must,...which may mean multiple visits. Staff have always been excellent & fast service.More

The ordering system here was quite cool. You tick on the sheet what you would like. The service was quick and the set out of the place was nice. We ordered two baos and two sets of dumplings. I enjoyed my Veggie Bao. The tofu...was cooked deliciously, there were heaps of mung beans. I thought their could have been maybe some lettuce or something else in it instead of so many beans. The chicken Bao was tasty though. Myself and my partner didn’t enjoy the dumplings which was disappointing. My partner had pork dumplings and didnt feel like the meat was very good quality and seemed a bit like a sausage roll. The vegan dumplings were average also, some had a lot of the same filling in them (silver beet maybe). They were generously filled but didn’t have much flavour.More

Not great, not terrible. The dumplings seem like a westernised version of the ones in Taiwan, China, or Singapore. They are very big and the filling seems more like a sausage roll filling than a dumpling. The bao was really nice. The dim sum had...a similar “sausage roll filling” texture. Waitresses not welcoming and pretty disinterested in selling us more drinks or food, despite the place being very quiet. The good points: nice beer cocktail, good decor, spotlessly clean booth. I probably wouldn’t go back... I’d try something more authentic.More

Dumplings were delish! Wine was absolutely divine. We were there early so it was quiet. Efficient service and v friendly staff. Will be back!

Craving dumplings so we ended up here on a 4 hr stopover in Chch. Guys youve got to try this place. Service was good and food came out really quickly. The vego dumplings, tofu bao, spicy wonton bowl and chicken dumplimgs are divine. So sad...this isnt in Akl.More

We chose 2 types of dumplings, a fish bao and greens. The food is always tremendous here and was again. All washed down with an Asai. Only problem was a lady with an extremely loud laugh which annoying as tables are quite close, and the...waiter kept taking away our plates before we had finished. But overall another great asian cuisine experience.More
